Mary’s Christmas Song

“I'll tell you something.

The Catholic religion has taught us that God chose someone very special to make her the earthly Mother of His Son, Jesus and that therefore we should respect her for that.

Just as I believe my mom is my superior and therefore I owe her respect in life and when she goes to be home with God.

The day of the candles, is the official start of the celebration of the great event of the coming of "Jesus" and in honor of this, we give a salute to the Mother of "Jesus" in this land and the candles are lit (no images or statues), we simply light candles in every house or place, pray and thank God for all the blessings he has given us.”

"Te voy a decir algo.

La religión católica nos ha enseñado que Dios escogió a alguien muy especial para hacerla la Madre terrenal de Su Hijo, Jesús, y que, por lo tanto, debemos respetarla por eso.

Así como creo que mi madre es mi superior y por eso le debo que respetarla en la vida y cuando ella estara en el cielo con el Senor.

El día de las velas, es el inicio oficial de la celebración del gran evento de la venida de "Jesús" y en honor a esto, saludamos a la Madre de "Jesús" en esta tierra y las velas se encienden ( no hay imágenes o estatuas), simplemente encendemos velas en cada casa o lugar, oramos y agradecemos a Dios por todas las bendiciones que nos ha dado ".

46 Mary responded,

“Oh, how my soul praises the Lord.

47 How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!

48 For he took notice of his lowly servant girl,

and from now on all generations will call me blessed.

49 For the Mighty One is holy,

and he has done great things for me.

50 He shows mercy from generation to generation

to all who fear him.

51 His mighty arm has done tremendous things!

He has scattered the proud and haughty ones.

52 He has brought down princes from their thrones

and exalted the humble.

and sent the rich away with empty hands.

56 Mary stayed with Elizabeth about three months and then went back to her own home.

This song of Mary celebrates the miracle of the Birth of Jesus, but it also reminds us how God chose Mary as He choses each of us, God instills Hope in Mary as He provides Hope humanity in the midst of chaos and God fulfills His promises to Israel as He does the same for all of us.

Esta canción de María celebra el milagro del Nacimiento de Jesús, pero también nos recuerda cómo Dios eligió a María como Él nos escogió a cada uno de nosotros, Dios infunde Esperanza en María mientras brinda esperanza a la humanidad en medio del caos y Dios cumple Sus promesas a Israel como Él hace lo mismo por todos nosotros.

b. Mary became a Historical Figure in God’s Plan for humanity... we also have that part.

2. Mary Praises God for providing Hope for the Hopeless

a. (NLT), 16 When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the Scriptures.

17 The scroll of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him.

He unrolled the scroll and found the place where this was written: 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, 19 and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”

20 He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the attendant, and sat down.

All eyes in the synagogue looked at him intently.

21 Then he began to speak to them.

“The Scripture you’ve just heard has been fulfilled this very day!”
