Subject: The Birth of Jesus in a Carpenter's Home. Mary and Joseph's family were the lowest people, they were nobodies, they had no riches. God is not coming to kings and queens, He is not coming in palaces, He is coming to a carpenter and to a teenager and He puts the glory of all the world in their family. He's showing us the kind of hearts we need to have. God comes to us, He wraps Himself in flesh and comes at us. The question is: do we see and receive Him by faith? Does it transform us by faith? Every Christmas that you start to contemplate the virgin birth know that God was patient to give you one more year to either warn you or embrace you, which one will it be?
