While longing to be back in Jerusalem, where he could worship before the Lord in the Tabernacle, David is brought to remember the Lord’s covenant with him, which gives him great hope and assurance. We are reminded that we have a covenant with the Lord, made by Jesus, which is a source of our assurance that nothing will separate us from His love.
