WHAT IS AUTHORITY?

DEFINITION: The power to give orders, make decisions, or enforce obedience

FACT 1: Everybody is under somebody

FACT 2: Everybody can have influence without authority

FACT 3: If you keep waiting for authority, it won’t come

Luke 16:10 NLT
“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.

HOW TO CREATE A CULTURE OF AUTHORITY

NOTE: If you can be trusted with little, you can be trusted with much

2) We are in charge of ourselves

NOTE: Prove you can lead others well by leading yourself well

3) We are all in charge of our energy

NOTE: Control the energy you bring everyday

4) We are all in charge of our influence

NOTE: It’s not about positions, it’s about people

5) We are all in charge of honor

NOTE: Public honor leads to private influence
