Introduction

Text - Malachi 3.1-3

What we have established in Part 1

That the coming of the Lord will be preceded by a Forerunner whose ministry indicates the beginning of the season of the Lord’s return.
The Midnight Cry of Matthew 25.6 fulfills that role
Bro. Wm. Branham has was the Midnight Cry
That the season of the Lord’s return is the fulfilment of the prophesied “Days of the Son of Man”.
The Days of the Son of Man was prophesied by Christ Himself in Luke 17.22-30
That the coming of the Lord will have two (2) major impact in the Church, one of which is she will be purified.
more on this in this second part.

Main Points

The Lord is coming to purify His People

Malachi 3.2-3
Malachi 3:2–3 NKJV
“But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.

The Lord will like Refiner’s Fire

The Fire will test the quality of our work in the Temple of God
1 Corinthians 3.13
1 Corinthians 3:13 NKJV
each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.
The Fire will test the quality of our faith
1 Peter 1.7
1 Peter 1:7 NKJV
that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

The Lord will like Launderer’s Soap

The Soap will cleanse the Temple from the iniquity (Heb. awon, guilt)
Jeremiah 2.22
Jeremiah 2:22 NKJV
For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, Yet your iniquity is marked before Me,” says the Lord God.

The Refining and Washing is done through the Five-fold Ministry

Matthew 3.12
Matthew 3:12 NKJV
His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
Ephesians 4.11-13
Ephesians 4:11–13 NKJV
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

The Lord is coming to finish His Temple

Zechariah 4.1-10
A little background
[SEE ILLUSTRATION - The Vision]
The vision
a lampstand with seven lamps
a bowl above the lampstand
seven pipes from the the bowl to the lamps
two olive trees on both sides of the lampstand
The meaning - addressed to Zerubbabel
[SEE ILLUSTRATION - The Interpretation]
Summary of events in the rebuilding of the temple:
The Lexham Bible Dictionary Temple Construction

Ezra 3–6 details the building efforts of the returned exiles. The account suggests that reconstruction of the temple began quickly (536 BC), but after the altar was built (Ezra 3:1–7) and the foundation was reconstructed (Ezra 3:8–13) the project was soon frustrated. The builders encountered resistance from the people of the land (Ezra 4:1–5), who convinced the king to withdraw the support of Persia from the project (Ezra 4:19–23)—work on the temple stopped for fifteen years (535–520 BC) until the second year of the reign of Darius (Ezra 4:24). Zechariah and Haggai came to Zerubbabel’s aid and work began again on the temple in 520 BC (Ezra 5:1; Hag 1:1; Zech 1:1). Temple construction was finished in the sixth year of the reign of Darius (515 BC; Ezra 6:15) and the temple was dedicated by the people in a joyous celebration (Ezra 6:16–18).

Joshua, the High Priest, and Zerubbabel, the Governor, were the main characters in the rebuilding of the temple.
Zerubbabel was discouraged because of mounting oppositions from Israel’s enemies
God assures Israel that the temple will be completed, not by human strength, but by the Spirit of God.
The hands that laid the foundation will be the same hands that will place the capstone
God’s presence at that time was signified by the “Seven Eyes”
Zechariah 3.9
Zechariah 3:9 NKJV
For behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
Zechariah 4.10
Zechariah 4:10 NKJV
For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”
Revelation 5.6
Revelation 5:6 NKJV
And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Revelation 4.5
Revelation 4:5 NKJV
And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

The vision also speaks of the Church of the Living God, the Temple that God is building in our lives

1 Corinthians 3.16
1 Corinthians 3:16 NKJV
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
1 Peter 2.5
1 Peter 2:5 NKJV
you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

The Temple of God will be completed, not by human power or ability, but by the Spirit of God!

Zechariah 4.6
Zechariah 4:6 NKJV
So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.
That’s why we have to allow the Spirit of God to work in our lives so He can perfect us!
Do not be drunk with wine - worldly amusements - but be filled with the Spirit!
Let the Spirit of God guide you in these last days!

The Temple of God will be finished by the Same Person - Jesus Christ!

Jesus began the work in Pentecost. Jesus will finish the work in these last days!
Philippians 1.6
Philippians 1:6 NKJV
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End!
Revelation 1.10-13, 17-18
Revelation 1:10–13 NKJV
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.” Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.
Revelation 1:17–18 NKJV
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

The Temple is complete when the Capstone is placed!

Zechariah 4.7
Zechariah 4:7 NKJV
‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’ ”
In the Stature of a Perfect Man, the Capstone is Love
2 Peter 1.5-7
2 Peter 1:5–7 NKJV
But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
[SEE ILLUSTRATION - Stature of the Perfect Man]
Notice: Foundation = Faith; Capstone = LOVE
1 Thessalonians 3.6
1 Thessalonians 3:6 NKJV
But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always have good remembrance of us, greatly desiring to see us, as we also to see you—
1 Thessalonians 5.8
1 Thessalonians 5:8 NKJV
But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
2 Thessalonians 1.3
2 Thessalonians 1:3 NKJV
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,
2 Timothy 1.13
2 Timothy 1:13 NKJV
Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
Faith establishes our life in Christ, Love completes the work!

The “Seven Eyes of the LORD” will ensure that the Capstone is placed and the Temple Finished!

Zechariah 4.10
Zechariah 4:10 NKJV
For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”
[SEE ILLUSTRATION - The Seven Eyes of the LORD]
The Eyes of the LORD watched over the Church during its construction.
The Seven Star-Messengers sent to the Seven Church Ages
Revelation 1.20
Revelation 1:20 NKJV
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.
The Seven Eyes of the LORD will manifest again in the FINISHING of the Temple
Revelation 10.4-5
Revelation 10:4–5 NKJV
Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.” The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to heaven

Individual “completion”
360  So when you surrender your complete being, then the Holy Spirit just pours through you, in these virtues, then you're a living tabernacle. Then people look out and say, "That's a man full of virtue, knowledge (he believes the Word), temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, full of the love of the Holy Ghost. See, there he is, walking around." What is it? A stature that unbelievers can look at and say, "There is a Christian. There is a man, or a woman, who knows what they're talking about. You never seen a kinder, sweeter, godlier person." You're sealed. A seal shows on both sides. Whether you're going or coming, you see the seal just the same. There you are. See? When a man or woman possess this, then the Capstone comes down and seals them into the Kingdom of God, which is the Holy Ghost. (62-1014M - The Stature Of A Perfect Man)
The “Capping” of the Church in the end-time
371 Might be closer than you think it is. It's got me scared. Oh, I haven't done enough. Where are we at?
372 "Time shall be no more." He announces that time is over. What happens? What happens? Could that be so now, brethren? Seriously think. If it is, then the pyramid is capped by the Seven Thunders
373 You remember the pyramid Message? It's the Capstone. What did It do? The Holy Spirit capped off the individual and seal it, when we added to our faith; righteousness, and godliness, and faith, and so forth, and kept adding to it till we got seven things. And the seventh one was love, which is God. That's how He makes the individual, and caps him and seals him with the Holy Spirit
374  Then, if that be so, He's got seven church ages, that He's had seven mysteries that's been sounded away, and they fought for, to bring back. And now the Headstone comes, to cap off the Church. Does the Thunders mean that, my brethren? Sirs, is that where we're at? (62-1230E - Is This The Sign Of The End, Sir?)
Note: Bro. Branham was talking about his experience at Sabino Canyon.
380 And Those, blasting, the other morning, that shook me plumb till I raised up in the air, as high as this building, that constellation of Angels, seven Angels in the form of a pyramid. Is that them Thunders that's coming forth? Could it be?
381 This is all interpreted. According to his dream, it was all finished. According to God's Word, the seventh messenger will finish, seventh Message will be finished, and then the Seven Thunders. And he saw the capstone rolled over. (62-1230E - Is This The Sign Of The End, Sir?)
Note: Three Important points from these quotes:
The Capstone will complete the work of God in the Church.
The Capstone comes after the seventh message/messenger is finished.
The “capping” of the Temple of God with the Capstone - Christ Himself - will be ministered by the “Seven Thunders”.

The coming of the Capstone will be a time of Revival!

Zechariah 4.7
Zechariah 4:7 NKJV
‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’ ”
“Grace, grace to it!”
The Bride of Christ will enter her final revival when the Seven Thunders utter their voices!
Zechariah 4.10
Zechariah 4:10 NKJV
For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”
“these seven [eyes] rejoice to see the plumb line...”
Plumb line = ha eben ha bedil (the stone, the tin)
The plumb line is most likely a plate made of tin with an inscription, which will be placed on to the temple when it is finished.
When the Church was established on her Foundation, they were filled with Holy Spirit and they spoke with other tongues!
When the Church is completed by the Capstone, Seven Thunders will utter their voices that will reveal the coming of Christ to His Bride!
It will be a great revelation (engraved) to us!
You know when we compared the Scripture here with Matthew 24 with the six Seals, the Seventh Seal was left out; because (You see?), Christ said only God Himself knowed, not even the Angels. No wonder, it wasn't even written. You see, they hushed; nothing take place then. Angels don't know it; nobody knows when He's coming. But there'll be a… There'll be seven voices of these thunders that will reveal the great revelation at that time. (63-0324E - The Seventh Seal)

Conclusion

[SEE ILLUSTRATION]
Are you ready for the coming of the Lord?
The Lord will come whether you are ready or not.
Do you now know what to expect before the Rapture actually takes place?
Knowing what will happen makes you even more prepared for the Rapture!
24  And I am looking for a time of a break forth, of the Spirit of God, in these last days that we're now living in; for another surge of the Holy Spirit, into the Church; for a rapturing faith, just before it comes. And everything is sitting straight in order for that. And I believe that we're now at the time that the Word should have preeminence. I believe that the time to lay aside our creeds and our thoughts, and come back to the Word.    63-1128E - The Token    Rev. William Marrion Branham    http://table.branham.org
