Col 3:18–4:1. Dan Kroon. The first place we should sport our new spiritual clothing is at home. In our relationships with our husband or wife, and our parents or children, we are to be compassionate, kind, humble, gentle, patient and loving. If we can’t wear these garments around the home, we’re hardly going to be able to wear them anywhere else. So Paul gives these household instructions to show us what the 'fullness' of Christ looks like in everyday life, when we are truly 'ourselves'. And so, for us, it’s not about just the home, but the workplace as well. In fact, everywhere we are, we are called to live out the peace and message of Christ in the name of Christ.
