Looking ahead to the day God would give him victory over his adversaries, David resolved to praise God’s glorious name (v. 30). Instead of vowing to offer thanksgiving sacrifices when God answered his prayer, David decided to offer God “the sacrifice of praise ... that is, the fruit of [his] lips giving thanks to his name” (Heb. 13:5). This, David realized, would please the Lord more than animal sacrifices (v. 31). So we today must magnify the Lord, and showfore praise.

Message: Magnifying God With Thanksgiving
