Jeremiah the Weeping Prophet
Introduction: We have been dealing with Jeremiah, we have dealt with his call, We have also dealt with community to who he was call Judah.
Today I want to explore why Jeremiah is called the Weeping Prophet.
I want us to look at what brought him to tears!
What is that made him weep!
In life you will face situations that will make you mourn!!
In life you will deal with circumstance that will cause you to cry!!!
In life you will encounter people that will have you fall prostrate with your face to ground and cheeks filled with tears.
God will call us to crisis, put us in predicaments, drop us into dilemmas, that will cause us to Weep.
First of all let me share there is a difference between crying and weeping.
Weeping focuses of the feeling, while crying focuses on the process
Weeping is an emotional state, while crying is momentary burst
Jeremiah is called the weeping prophet which helps me to understand him even the more, it allows us see the tenderness of heart, is allows us to see him honor his call to God and his care for the people of Judah.
It allows us to see that he cares.

What does it mean to Give Glory to God
It means to acknowledge His Greatness and give Him Honor by praising and worshipping Him, because He alone, deserved to praised, honored, and worshipped.
We Give Him Glory Be Cause all of the Glory belongs to Him!!!
When I give God Glory, I also come with a offering to express my gratitude for what he has done in my life.
I’m living in houses I did not build, I’m eating from gardens, I did not plant, I am drink from the vine that, I did not grow.
As we come before him in the splendor of the beauty of His Holiness it involves agreement, obedience, submission and rehearsing the Attributes of God.

6 just kept called him Holy Holy Holy.

Jeremiah told Judah to Give God Glory and they wouldn’t give God Glory
Judah with means Praise !!! Would not give God Glory
Whenever you get to a place where you can not come into the presence of God’s house and give him Glory!!! it nothing wrong with God, it is something wrong with you!!!
They refused to Give him Glory!
Whenever you Give God Glory, he will give you revelation of situation!!!
