A fugitive Attitude

We get into this frame of mind, every now and then. Moving from place to place, changing jobs, and seeking joy and/or happiness in whatever form we can find. We seek peace of mind.
Failing to identify the root cause of our unhappiness and unfulfilled life, will only lead to a destructive lifestyle. Many people suffer and continue down this path, because they never make peace with God. A rebel mindset will destroy a person and his or her eternal peace.
The only cure is the peace of God.
God
A God and love that wont let go.
In this passage, we see a man/prophet hearing a command from God. Go down to a specific place and do a specific task, that was what God wanted. The prophet had other plans. For whatever reasons, he decided to flee from God and his task.
Foolishness. We, today and in our times make the same mistake.
