The author of Hebrews lays out the fact that the death of Jesus is fitting and that it proves he is the Messiah. In fact, the death of Jesus was part of the eternal plan of God. In it we see the sovereign plan of God and that it brings God glory, we see that it reveals to us who God is, that it reveals to us the humanity of Jesus, that Jesus is the founder of our salvation, and that through the death of Jesus God is bringing many sons to glory.
