Won’t He Do It!
A Look At and more
Rom
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel.
I am moved by what I believe.
I believe the WORD of God!
The victory is mine!
I have it now!
I can see it through the eyes of my faith!

No Condemnation
Ro 8:
"No condemnation" means that as a believer, You are not doomed or damned, but are free from the penalty and judgement of sin;
You and I are not judged as sinners, but delivered from the condemnation of death and hell; he is not judged to be unrighteous, but is counted to be righteous.
Won’t He Do It!!
(MSG)
3  God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son.
He didn't deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant.
In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all.
The law code, weakened as it always was by fractured human nature, could never have done that.
The law always ended up being used as a Band-Aid on sin instead of a deep healing of it.
See, the Spirit pulls the mind to spiritual things.
This Scripture, talks to us about our minds.
"As [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7).
Where a man keeps his mind and what he thinks about determine who he is and what he does.
If a man keeps his mind and thoughts in the gutter, he becomes part of the filth in the gutter.
If he keeps his mind upon the good, he becomes good.
If he focuses upon achievement and success, he achieves and succeeds.
If his mind is filled with religious thoughts, he becomes religious.
If his thoughts are focused upon God and righteousness, he becomes godly and righteous.
A man becomes and does what he thinks.
It is the law of the mind.
Scripture says three things about the power of the Spirit and of the human mind.
Preacher's Outline and Sermon Bible - Commentary - The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible – Romans.
"As [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he" ().
Where you keep your mind and what you think about determine who you are and what you do.
If we keep our mind and thoughts in the gutter, we becomes part of the the gutter.
If we keep our mind on the good, we become good.
If we focuses upon achievement and success, we achieve and succeed .
If our mind is filled with religious thoughts, we becomes religious.
If our thoughts are focused upon God and righteousness, we become godly and righteous.
A person becomes and does what he thinks.
It is the law of the mind.
The bible says three things about the power of the Spirit and of the human mind.
1.
There is the carnal mind vs. the spiritual mind.
The carnal mind is the mind of man's flesh or body.
The phrase "to be carnally minded"
It means the mind that is given over to the flesh; that focuses upon the flesh and its worldly urges and desires;
2. There is the spiritual mind.
It is the natural mind of man that has been renewed by the Spirit of God.
It means that the man who walks after the Spirit minds "the things of the Spirit" day by day.
3.
There is the fate of both minds.
The carnal mind is strongly warned, whereas the spiritual mind is assured and comforted.
The Spirit of God can transform the mind of man.
The Spirit of God can pull the mind to spiritual things
Won’t He Do It
The Spirit gives life to the spirit of the believer.
The idea in the Greek makes this verse clear:
Another way to look at this is
"If Christ be in you, although the body is to die because of sin, the spirit shall live because of righteousness."
Very simply stated, the body of man does die, but his spirit can live forever if Christ is "in" him.
Ro 8:
You owe your flesh nothing!
You are not in debt or obligated to your flesh,
The flesh brings nothing but misery and suffering to man.
You are not obligated to something that caves in... • to sickness and disease so often.
• to sin and shame so often.
• to death much too quickly.
Won’t He Do It
One of the great powers of the Holy Spirit, is the power to lead you as a believer and to become involved in your life.
The evidence or proof that a person is a child of God is this:
*Are you led by the Spirit of God?
*Are you acknowledging God and rejoicing in His strength and eternal security during the trials of life?
* Are you being led along the way of righteousness and truth?
s the person led by the Spirit of God? ⇒ Is the person being carried through the trials of life victoriously, acknowledging God and rejoicing in His strength and eternal security?
⇒ Is the person being led along the way of righteousness and truth?
⇒ Is the person being directed and brought along on the course to heaven, to spend eternity with God?
Preacher's Outline and Sermon Bible - Commentary - The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible – Romans.
* Are you being directed and brought along on the course to heaven, to spend eternity with God?
Very simply, are you living for God and talking about the things of God?
When you are truly led by the Spirit you are wrapped up in the things of God.
A Child of God rejoices in his Father and seeks to please His Father in all that he does.
