Most people go throught life in a management mode. An encounter with God, however, provides meaning to each experience because God knows "The Big Picture".

3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

God Knows the Big Picture
This reality remains unknown to those out of relationship with him. Only those in relationship with God can truly appreciate the struggles of life, because they see the big picture that is only revealed in fellowship with Him.

While Joseph’s brothers lived a life under condemnation and guilt for the evil that did to their brother, Joseph would say, after being thrown in a pit, sold into slavery and wrongfully accused, what you meant for evil God has turned it for good. Wow, what a perspective, this could only come from a relationship to God. Who knows the big picture.
And Laban had two daughters: the name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel. Leah was tender eyed; but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured. And Jacob loved Rachel; and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter. And Laban said, It is better that I give her to thee, than that I should give her to another man: abide with me. And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her.
And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her. And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast.
