Background - ministry meeting with a number of dear friends/business men and pastors - all ministry partners.
Introduced 2 friends, one of whom was new to this growing group
The one brother was holding his menu are arm’s length and struggling to read the details.
Introduction of the brother with the outstretched arm to my then new friend who is a Dr of Optometry. As the introduction began, I did not mention that. What I did explain was the developing ministry context, my brother’s heart for ministry and why I had invited him.
With no reference to his profession, my new friend commented to my friend with the outstretched arm, “You seem to have a bit of a problem reading the menu.”
