So What?… Now What?
We play quite possibly the greatest game in the history of the world. The lessons in teamwork, individual accountability, brotherhood, obedience, yielding to authority figures, servant leadership, etc. Then there’s the dealing of uncertainty - my father used to tell me how unique and ultimately equalizing this game can be, versus other sports. He’d say, “unlike those other sports, our ball isn’t perfectly round; it can take some funny bounces sometimes. Anyone has a chance to win.”
It’s the perfect microcosm of life. Life, indeed, can take some funny bounces. How prepared are you to handle both the successes and failures? Today we’ll dig in and touch on parts of .

Y’all probably didn’t realize that what you’ve been screaming on the sidelines during games is rooted in Biblical truth.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written,
“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Story of Joseph
Story of Joseph
starts off by introducing us to Joseph as a snitch who the father really loved (mainly be cause Jacob was a sign that he could still put it down in his old age).
Jacob loved him so much, he had special robe made for Joseph (something usually reserved for the first born)
Already reason for the brothers to hate on Joseph - snitch and favored
Joseph then had dreams that foretold of his eventual prominence. He shared them with his brothers!!!
Talking about rubbing salt in the wounds
They hatched a plan to get rid of their brother. And while we won’t get into all the specifics during this short time, ultimately Joseph is sold into slavery.
His Coach Jehovah said, “so what?”
Now Joseph is in the Potiphar’s house, and he’s having success because God is with him. Since he had that Midas touch, he was elevated to essentially run the entire house. Now Joseph is a good looking man (the Bible even makes a point to let us know this). Word on the street is he looks a lot like me. Not my words… So good, that Potiphar’s wife needed some Gatorade - the thirst was real!
She’s like come and get some of this. He continually turns her down. She finally tries to take matters into her own hands and grabs him by his cloak. He gets out of it and runs! She’s pissed, embarrassed, and gonna make him pay (Hell hath no fury). She lies on him and he goes to jail - even though her husband doesn’t really believe her.
So doing the right thing, and ends up in jail.. Coach Elohim said, “so what?”
God was with him, and he soon became a favorite of the warden. Joseph soon became in charge of all the other prisoners.
Two of the king’s officials offended Pharoah, and were sent to the same jail Joseph was in charge of. They both had dreams. Joseph interpreted them both and asked that they remember him when they deal with Pharoah.
They didn’t. El shaddai said, “so what?”
Pharoah, a couple years later had some disturbing dreams, and finally the cup-bearer remembered Joseph. Joseph interprets the dreams and ultimately is promoted to rule over Egypt.
The Why
The Why
Why was Joseph able to over come time and time again? Because even through the self-inflicted wounds, his love for God was steadfast, and he was always sure to give God the glory (before interpreting all of the dreams, he prefaced it by always saying that it was only something that could be done through God). More important the rest of says:

So, false start? So what, now what?
Injured player? So what, now what?
Bad call by the official? So what, now what?
Up by 30? So what, now what?
Not as many reps as you’d hoped? So what, now what?
Play not executed the way you called? So what, now what?
Don’t get it twisted. The so what, now what isn’t a call to mediocrity. It’s just the opposite. It’s in our response that we galvanize our teammates. It’s in our rebound, that we enthuse our fans. It’s in our perseverance that we glorify God.
We’re not where we hoped we’d be leading into today’s game. So what? There’s a victory to be had today. Now what!
