Sermon September 9, 2017
Sermon: Take Heed to Yourselves – The Storm is coming!
Thesis: The Storm is coming and no one is safe from this storm of the century, except those who heed the warning to escape, for there is a mandatory evacuation.
INTRODUCTION
WHATS THAT IN THE SKY
Breaking News!
Authorities believe this is the big one!
A storm of epic proportion is barreling across the sky and it is heading your way.
It is fool hearted to even think you can out run it.
Neither can you ride this one out!
This storm is predicted to be the greatest and most dangerous and devastating one every recorded in our time! It is dubbed a Nuclear storm of epic propotion.
It is barreling across the sky! Rolling and pulsating as it approaches!
There is nothing but destruction in its way.
They tell me, entire islands will be seriously destroyed and even disappear!
It will plummet! It will devastate, it will ravage.
THE EYE OF THE STORM
The eye of the storm is predicted to pass directly over planet earth.
Meteorologist have observed some strange flying objects in the distance among the clouds the likes they have never seen.
They say these flying objects uniformed – they are in perfect formation.
Instruments in their hands.
A sound like a trumpet is heard emanating from the eye of the storm.
They notice a figure the size of a man’s hand at the center and it is getting larger and larger as it approaches land.
There is a rumbling - thunder and lightning emanating from the center.
The clouds are moving as if they are living organisms.

This coming storm is predicted to span not just the Caribbean islands, the State of Florida, the country of China, the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, and America, but rather the entire territory of Planet earth!

Preparation is mandatory and Evacuation is not optional! If you choose to ride it out you will experience the fury of the devastating power of the storm!
This Storm it is said will defy the laws of nature!
Prophets, theologians and Biblical Scientists have flown into the eye of the storm and have found out that the storm has a well formed eye wall that belies logic. It appears that there is an object at the center, the core, the eye of the storm that seems to direct and steer the storm to its destination.
How prepared are you?
You don’t want to be caught unprepared!
This is not just a major storm, it’s the big one!
The only true category 7 storm! It’s the perfect Storm!
It’s the storm to end all storms
HOW CAN YOU ESCAPE THIS MONSTER STORM!
There is only one escape route out of harm’s way!
There is only one evacuation shelter from the devastation of the storm
That is through the one who rides and control the storm
Jesus said Thomas and the Disciples in (KJV) 6 …I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
There is a way a path a routh that seems right unto a man….
He is the shelter in the time of Storm!

We see the Storm clouds have formed in the eastern sky!
It is rapidly approaching.
How do you interpret the movements of the storm and Signs of the Time?

1The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
2He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

The signs are clear that some thing Ominous is looming on the horizon!

WHEN SHALL THESE THINGS HAPPEN?

Tribulation ceased about 1776. The 1260 years of began 538 A.V. and ended 1798. The signs in the sun and moon were to be seen between the end of the tribulation and 1798 A. D. An account of the fulfillment is given in Webster's Dictionary, 1869 edition, as follows:---
"The Dark Day, May 19, 1780,---so called on account of the remarkable darkness on that day extending all over New England. In some places, persons could not see to read common print in the open air for several hours together.. The obscuration at about ten o'clock in the morning, and continued till the middle of the next night but with differences of degree and duration different places. For several days previously the wind had been variable, but chiefly from the southwest and northeast. The true cause of this remarkable phenomenon is not known."
Herschel, the astronomer, says
"The Dark Day in North America was one of those wonderful phenomena of nature which Will always be read of with interest, but which philosophy is at a loss to explain.'"

An entire chapter in Deven's "Our First Century," pp. 329-336, is devoted to the description of the great shower of stars of Nov. 13, 1833, which fulfilled this prophecy in every respect.
The signs began to come to pass in 1780, and now they have come to pass.

The calamities by land and sea,
the unsettled state of society,
the alarms of war, are portentous.
They forecast approaching events of the greatest magnitude.
The agencies of evil are combining their forces and consolidating.
They are strengthening for the last great crisis.
Great changes are soon to take place in our world,
and the final movements will be rapid ones.--9T 11 (1909).
CONCLUSION
Would you take Heed to Yourselves and escape this potentially devastating storm?
Thesis: No one will be safe from this storm, except those who have made their peace, calling and election sure by accepting Jesus as your personal savior from sin
Would you get your house in order!
Would you take this one seriously, listen to the warning and prepare for evacuation?
Take your family – warn your neighbors and friends!
This storm will envelop the entire planet earth
Don’t choose to ride this one out

Signs in the Earth

MEXICO CITY - An earthquake of magnitude 8 struck off the southern coast of Mexico late on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said, shaking buildings across the center and south of the country and sending people running into the streets in the capital.
There were no immediate reports of major damage.
Mexico's civil protection agency said it was the strongest earthquake to hit the country since a devastating 1985 tremor that toppled buildings and killed thousands.
People in Mexico City ran out into the streets in pajamas and alarms sounded after the quake struck just before midnight, a Reuters witness said. Power went out in some neighborhoods.
"I had never been anywhere where the earth moved so much. At first I laughed, but when the lights went out I didn't know what to do. I nearly fell over," said Luis Carlos Briceno, an architect, 31, who was visiting Mexico City.
The epicenter was 123 km (76 miles) southwest of the town of Pijijiapan, at a depth of 33 km (21 miles). Widespread, hazardous tsunami waves were possible, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said.

Three Comings of Christ and the Marriage of the Lamb
THERE are three separate positions taken in regard to the advent of Christ; Ist, He comes to judge the world; 2nd, He comes as a thief; 3rd, He comes to take His people to heaven. There is truth in each position, for they do not relate to the same event but to three separate events which take place in their order.
