Revival is directly proportional to the need at hand. The greater the problems we face, the greater is the revival that awaits.

The Bride hasn’t had a revival yet.

The Bride hasn’t had a revival yet.
Why did the prophet WMB say this? When is the Bride’s revival coming?

It will take those seven unknown thunders…

The seven thunders will wake up the Bride to her final and greatest revival.
QUOTE
182  Now, that's what's the reason today that the revivals that we're supposed to have… We have denominational revivals; we haven't had a real stirring. No, no, no, no. No, sir. Don't think we got revivals. We haven't. Oh, they've got millions and millions and millions of church members, but not a revival nowhere. No, no.
The Bride hasn't had a revival yet. See? There's been no revival there, no manifestation of God to stir the Bride yet. See? We're looking for it. It will take those seven unknown thunders back there to wake her up again. He will send it. He promised it. Now, now, watch. Now, she was—she was dead. / 63-0320 - The Third Seal    Rev. William Marrion Branham    http://table.branham.org

Some things are hindering revival from bursting forth...

We allow earthly things to hinder our personal and church revival.
The church is bound in the world!
We don't have the meetings we used to have. The people are talking today. Billy Graham, and Brother Oral Roberts, myself, all of us, we're trying to talk of a revival in our days. How can we have a revival as long as the church is bound with the world? How can you do it when Samson is bound? The secret's been known and God shaved off his power. There's no more… It's got to a place to people… These incubator preachers has got us to a place until we so stiff-necked, till honest people make fun of some good old saint that'll pray through to victory; hear somebody shout; or speak with tongues; or—or demonstrate some power of the Holy Ghost, and then, people that call themselves Christians will make fun of those people. What's the matter? It's… All the thing has done is shaved off the power. / 59-0702 - Where Has Thy Strength Gone, Samson?, Rev. William Marrion Branham
The church is so bound and starchy!
72  What are we going to do? What's going to happen? There's one glorious thing that I can think of to end this text. While Samson was bound… We can't have a revival. Listen at our loyal brother, Billy Graham, "Revival in our day." Listen at Oral Roberts scream, "Revival in our day." Listen at the rest of them, "Revival in our day." How can we have a revival when we're bound? We've bound the Holy Spirit with our organizations and traditions, and we can't have a Holy Ghost revival. Amen. I know that's scorching hot with the weather, but it's the truth. How can we have a Holy Ghost revival when you're so bound and starchy? "Form of godliness," the Bible said they'd have. "Form of godliness, but would deny the power thereof." The power of what? The power of the organization? The power of the world? The power of the church? The power of the Holy Ghost. That's the secret place in the church. And when the church adopts educated preachers, and big buildings, and finery, in the stead of the old fashion Holy Ghost, they'd better be in the mission again. Amen. True. How you going to have a revival of the Holy Ghost, and people quench It and bound It and afraid of It? There's where the trouble lies. / 59-0628M - A Deceived Church, By The World, Rev. William Marrion Branham
There’s no room for Jesus!
Sometimes we have a revival, and the ladies aid's got to put on theirs, and this has got to do this, and this has got to do that. The first thing you know, there's no room for Jesus. We so carried up with all our societies and things, till we forget what the revival's about. Let's don't do that in Chicago this week. Let's invite Him and then worship Him when He comes. / 55-1002 - The Unwelcomed Christ, Rev. William Marrion Branham
We follow the wrong leadership!
Now, we wonder today, why we can't have a revival. Why can't we have a revival? What's the matter we can't have? Is because we follow the wrong leadership. We can have some manufactured conversions and protractive meetings, but when it comes to a real revival, what's the matter? We're letting too much world creep into our churches. Brethren, you ministers, you believe that? / 60-0805 - Lamb And Dove, Rev. William Marrion Branham
What worldly things are hindering the work of God in your life today?

God always meets us at the point of our need.

God loves to answer our prayers.

God loves to answer prayers of faith.

John 14.13-14
John 14:13–14 NKJV
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
John 15.16
John 15:16 NKJV
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
John 16.24
John 16:24 NKJV
Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Unfortunately, most prayers of faith are centered on earthly and temporal needs.

1 John 5.14
1 John 5:14 NKJV
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
Earthly needs will provide earthly joy.
Temporary needs will provide temporary joy.
UNTIL WE CAN REALIZE THE NEEDS THAT ARE GREATER THAN THESE EARTHLY THINGS, WE CAN NEVER EXPERIENCE THE REAL REVIVAL.
God will only meet us at the point of our need that we present before Him.

Faith must be used properly.

Jesus taught us to believe in God for a very special reason.
How do you usually practice your faith?

Faith was not given to fill our earthly needs

Faith that is focused on earthly needs is gravely misused.
Faith is misused if all we ask are food, shelter, clothing, physical strength, good education, etc.

Faith was given to connect us back to God!

Faith was given to bring us back to God.
Jesus performed signs and wonders to restore Israel’s awe of God.
Jesus encouraged people to “have faith in God”!
NOTE - Jesus saw how the Jews have lost their faith in God. Even his disciples were surprised at what they saw Him do!
Mark 11.22
Mark 11:22 NKJV
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

Faith was given so we can work with God!

Faith was given to enable us to fulfill the perfect will of God in our lives.
John 6.29
John 6:29 NKJV
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
John 14.1, 12
John 14:1 NKJV
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
John 14:12 NKJV
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

The Bride must realize her real need before she can receive her revival.

True revival only comes when the real needs are brought before God by faith.
It’s not just needs - it must be real needs

Israel’s attempts to “reform” her spiritual life failed.

Reforms made by Israel’s leaders failed for lack of faith and true repentance.
King’s reforms failed.
Priests’ reforms failed.
NOTE - the “high places” were not removed in most reforms.
Asa, king of Judah - 1 Kings 15.11-14
Jehoshaphat, king of Judah - 1 Kings 22.41-43
Jehoash, king of Judah - 2 Kings 12.1-3
Amaziah, king of Judah - 2 Kings 14.1-4
Azariah, king of Judah - 2 Kings 15.1-4
Jotham, king of Judah - 2 Kings 15.32-35
Israel failed to realize she has lost her faith in the living God. The high places meant there was always a place reserved for idols in her heart.
What is the Bride’s greatest need?

The Bride needs an awakening! She’s “dead”!

The Bride’s awakening will come when she finally see her real need.
QUOTE
The Bride hasn't had a revival yet. See? There's been no revival there, no manifestation of God to stir the Bride yet. See? We're looking for it. It will take those seven unknown thunders back there to wake her up again. He will send it. He promised it. Now, now, watch. Now, she was—she was dead. / 63-0320 - The Third Seal,   Rev. William Marrion Branham
She is NOT DEAD IN SIN.
She is DEAD IN A CERTAIN SPIRITUAL CONDITION. She doesn’t realize her real need.
Proofs:
The Bride is busy fighting doctrine against doctrine.
The Bride is busy creating new and strange doctrines.
The Bride is busy building earthly lives.
The Bride is bound to the world.
Ephesians 5.11-14
Ephesians 5:11–14 NKJV
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

The Bride must wake up out of earthly needs and face up to spiritual realities!

The Bride must wake up to the reality that this world is not our home!
The Bride must wake up to the reality that her greatest joy does not lie in material things!
The Bride must wake up to the reality that heaven’s joy is her joy!
to worship God - Revelation 4.8-11
the salvation of souls - Revelation 5.8-10
Luke 15 - Jesus showed 3 times the joy of heaven is in the salvation of souls
Hebrews 12.2
to see the redeemed in glorious array - Revelation 19.7-9
The Bride must wake up to the reality that faith must be used for the work of God, not for our needs.
QUOTE
When faith from an honest heart meets God, them cogs just comes together like that. Something has to take place. I challenge this audience tonight, in the Name of Jesus Christ, let your faith connect with God like that, in a few minutes we'll have another Pentecost. They'll be such a revival break in this town, there wouldn't be enough cops in the country to keep them down. That's right. There'll be a real revival. “Even [so] now, Lord…”  / 60-0402 - Believest Thou This?,  Rev. William Marrion Branham
CONCLUSION
What is our greatest need today?

God will meet you at the point of your need today.

What do you really need in your life?
Name it! Say it! Believe it!

Greater need = greater revival!

Start looking for your greatest needs today!
Examples:
Martha
she realized her greatest need, but she did not have the faith to believe
Thankfully, Jesus was there to save the day for her!
Samson
he never asked for the return of his blinded eyes
he asked to be strengthened so he can destroy his enemy even in his blind condition, so he can fulfill God’s plan in his life!
Esther
she laid aside her own safety - “If I perish, I perish!”
she revealed her secret to the king so that she can save the Jewish people from Haman’s plot.
Sis. Hattie Wright
she did not ask for a million dollars, not even the healing of her sister
she asked for the salvation of her 2 young boys
Are you willing to lay aside your needs, and focus your faith on the doing the will of God today?
