In the spring of 1969, I was contemplating leaving College during my senior year to work a full time job.

My father had been diagnosed with a serious heart condition that rendered him weak and unable to continue working. In fact, he had suffered a heart attack while on the job and was told by his cardiologist to not only discontinue working but discontinue serving as our Pastor as well. His focus became getting to a healing service of some popular traveling evangelists of the day. The most noted one’s were A. A. Allen, R. W. Shamback and Oral Roberts to name a few.

However, God began to let daddy know that he was not just in Miracle Valley(A.A. Headquarters) but he was in his own back yard(at the gate).

Healed on Friday 1969 at 42. Alive and well today at 90.
