Pastor Keith Hassell

Cross Bearers:  (Luke 9:23)  Cross Bearers are the ones who are committed to the life of a disciple.  They deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Jesus.

Light Bearers:  (Matthew 5:14-16)  Light Bearers and those who are committed to carrying the message of Jesus to their generation.  They are the ones who teach, preach, and witness the truth of God through their lives.

Burden Bearers:  (Galatians 6:2)  Burden Bearers are the one who lift the burdens of others through prayer, acts of kindness, acts of charity, and ministry.

Love Bearers: (1 Corinthians 13:7; Romans 15:1; Matthew 5:43-45) Love Bearers are those who bear with the weak, the immature, the unlovely, and the hostile in order to demonstrate the unconditional love of God.  It is not a matter of rights, but a matter of choice.

Armor Bearers:  (1 Samuel 16:21  David was Saul’s armor bearer)  These are the ones committed to the army and its leadership.  Armor Bearers are known by their attitude.  It is the attitude of a servant.  They are loyal to God by being loyal to His leaders.  They know that the anointing flows from the head down and they are committed to protecting the head.  They fight for the house by fighting for their leaders. They function as a leader’s rear guard.

Standard Bearers:  (Isaiah 59:19)  Standard Bearers are the leaders.  They are the ones who help hold up the standard for others to follow.  They don’t just talk the talk, but they walk the walk.  They know that holding a standard draws enemy attention and assault but also brings a sense of identity, values, and courage to the troops.

Fruit Bearers:  (John 15:1-8; Galatians 5:22-23)  Fruit Bearers are those who are committed to exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit, winning souls, and making disciples.
