I Need God’s Word
I Need God’s Word
God’s Word is necessary for every believer. There is nothing in this more significant than the word of God. The word of God is a rule and guide for our everyday living. If we are without the word we are not living we are merely existing.
This Psalmist teaches us through testimony that we need God’s Word.
DT: The need and desire of God’s Word
Aim: We will study and cherish and obey the Word of God
I Need God’s Word to Sanctify Me
How can a young man keep his way pure?
By guarding it according to your word.

I Need God’s Word to Praise Him
Blessed are you, O Lord;
teach me your statutes!
a. The Psalmist praises God in the midst of his petition
- there ought be moments of praise given to God
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
