Start with prayer
Read chapter 1
who wrote revelation? Where? How? Record you insights.
The island of Patmos
Through an angel

And the four living creatures kept saying, “Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped.

God gave vision to Jesus who sent it to John through an angel. We are priests to His God and Father.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.

just from the text what is Revelation about?
it is a letter to the seven churches in asia about the things that John had seen and the things that were going on when he wrote the book and the things that were to come.
what are the benefits? list them and where they are found.
blessed is he who reads
those who hear
and those who heed the prophecy
John was told to list 3 things. List the verse and the 3 things.

which are

theme of chapter 2 is?
messages to:
what theme does chapter 2 fit into with regard to the three things Jesus said he would reveal
the things that are. these were things the churches needed to do right then
the things which are.

Days 3 and 4

mark chapters 3 and 4 and give chapter themes for both.

God on His throne.
time frame for revelation 3
present time. he was describing what that chruch needed to do at the time of the revelation
time frame for rev. 4
present time. it was a picture of God on His throne at the time of the vision.
read rev 5 and mark, also record its theme
