1. Expect the Unexpected

2. Hold Nothing Back

11)Jessie lined up all of his kids…one right after another, but he held back the youngest.
When we hold back from God we risk failure.
God is not looking for people who balance risk...
He is not looking for people who hold back certain areas of their lives, of their finances, or their families, or their circumstances…as people of God we are to hold nothing back…we risk it all, for Him and for His glory…the gospel teaches a message of reckless abandonment…we abandon ourselves and live for Him, holding nothing back.
3. Don’t be surprised with God using the least.
(v.
11) Jessie says, “I’ve got another son, but it ain’t him.
But God would decide otherwise.
Don’t be surprised with God using the least.
Don’t doubt the power of God when it comes to His purpose for you.
4. Always trust God to do what doesn’t make sense
Don’t loose sight of the wonder, of His presence, of His power, or of His work…or your calling.
