Good morning. How is everyone this morning? Everybody looks absolutely wonderful. Let's go ahead and stand up for praise and worship this morning that the sermons going to be about why God allows us to endure troubles problems why we have to suffer sometime and we all have had some hills to climb and some some battles to fight with God standing next to us and carrying us through all the trials and tribulations for this first song. The battle is not yours definitely speaks to that.

But often times we might find ourselves facing battles struggles. We don't know how we're going to get through it. But we have to remember that whatever he brings us to he will bring us through and he will never put more on us than we can bear.

Good morning. As Long As I Got King Jesus Don't need anyone else a man. You know that the interesting thing about today's Times. That more today than ever before we need Jesus. It is not just a song that you saying it is it's our reality. It's it's the only way we're going to make it through the craziness that's happening.

Hey, so let's pray father. We thank you for our young people. And I just I asked God that you would cover them as is they have real issues as well. They're going back to school family challenges Lord just cover them and in your blood just cover them from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet Lord at night and I pray for their instructors Lord. I pray God that as these young people going to class. They'll come out change and change by your word. And so we release them to Kids World and we pray God a covering over them as they're studying your word in Jesus name. Amen.

Y'all if you notice I have my phone here because for some strange reason my iPad won't charge up. So it's not like I'm trying to be fancy or anything is it's always the backup a man. And so these are real issues, you know.

I want to talk about why God allows us to have problems why God allows us to have problems you ever wonder why you go through what you go through sometimes. Why God allows us to have problems and our foundational scriptures going to come from John chapter 16 verse 33. So if you grab your bibles if we can if we get it up on the screen here go to John chapter 16 and verse number 33, if you stand we're going to read that together. Amen.

or you are the problem. Hey, man, sorry that you're the problem or you live with the problem or you have a problem a man. An interesting thing is our problems all very they vary from financial problems to health problems relationship problems as well as problems that we deal from guilt and depression Temptation and fail urine stress and even burn out you have been in that situation where you just tired of being tired a man. Now as Believers and followers of Jesus Christ, that doesn't mean that were exempt from painful situations from paying for problems we go through it probably sometimes more than the non-believers do because we know that the devil is after I say man, he's trying to derail us from having that amazing powerful spiritual life that God would would want us to have him so we all have problems in the thing about it is is when we stop acknowledging that we have problem. That's when the devil can take a stronghold and that's when we stop relying on Jesus Christ cuz as long as I got Jesus we can get through anything a man. Tell your neighbor as long as you got Jesus. You can get through anything. Amen. so Go to the next Queen. I want I want to try some the Greek word translated tribulation in the text that we read is the Greek word for Ellipsis, which means pressing or pressure. That burdens are Spirit. See when you have a tribulation. It's like a pressure on your spirit. It's a it's something that that is just burning and pressing on your spirit which makes you feel a certain way. That's what a tribulation will do. It's like if I pressured you ever want you

Pressure that occurs when you're going through things Greek meaning says it's a pressure or pressure that burdens our spirit go to the next go to the next one.

In in Romans chapter 8 verse 35 and 36 and says even though I'm going through. pressure on my spirit the Bible says who shall separate us from the love of Christ shall that pressure that you going through or the tribulations or distress or persecution or or nakedness or Peril or or even less or what is going to stop you from the love of Christ? Nothing even in the midst of you going through you're going through nothing is going to stop and go to the next one. What's 36 days as it is written for your sake? We are killed all day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. So I say that because in light of everything that is going on in this world, especially that would happen in in Virginia that craziness there and how people are twisting the Bible to justify what they wanted to be no matter what we're going through As Long As I Got King Jesus as long as I know that he's with me. We're going to make it through this that make sense. No matter what the financial situation is right now. As long as you got Jesus you going to make it through no matter what your your your health issue is right now as long as you got Jesus you going to make it through no matter how they say they want you one minute and then they don't want you to next month. As long as you got Jesus. You going to make it through he says there's nothing that's going to separate me from the love of God. I don't care what you're going through. Going to separate from God loving you. And when you keep your focus on Jesus nothing will separate you from loving him. Is that make sense?

In Romans chapter 8 verse 37 it says yet in all these things. We are more than say more than conquerors.

The only way we get to be more than conquerors is through him who loved us.

Go to next one. So a conqueror is a person that overcomes and takes control of a place or people by use of military force and y'all know we got a spiritual Army. See someone would be all over here didn't realize you had a spiritual Army that you do, you know where you're at Angels fighting on our behalf. They're fighting in the spiritual realm a man. Someone that has successfully overcome a problem or weakness and usually means above all measure. So when you become a conqueror you go above and beyond see you you take care of that thing. I've been pressing you that situation has been pressing you and you take control over it and now it works to your advantage. sometime what you're going through but when you get on the other side of it, it makes sense and then you can use that so that you will never been in that situation. Where does that make sense?

To those who are called according to his purpose you're going through what you're going through you're being pressed upon in your spirit because God has a plan and purpose for you. There is something that God needs to get you to or wants to do in you so that you can move forth the kingdom of God. That's why some of us are going through the challenges that we're going through a man. Hit the next one.

How does God turn our problems it's a good. I believe there's at least four ways. He does that he uses our problem see the directors. music

New Uses and problems either inspector to check what you really are about a man. And then finally to perfect us or to make us mature in Christ Jesus. Amen. So let's look at how God can use our situations to the rectus. Amen. Keep going CS Floyd. He said God Whispers to us in our pleasure, but shouts to us in our pain.

Typically when you going through what you're going through God is trying to speak to you. God is trying to tell you something. He's trying to get your attention. So doors are being shut or open people are leaving or coming because God is screaming that he loves you and he's trying to direct you in a certain way. You know, how we like to do our thing our way we want to do what we want to do and sometimes what we want to do is off the path that God has a plan for us. So he'll be screaming at us without problems and circumstances and then we're wondering why we're going through stop next time you that. Comes up with her and say God. What are you saying to me in the midst of this challenge? What are you saying to me in the mix of this circumstance. What? From you Lord because I know you always have my best interest at heart.

In Psalm chapter 119 verse 67 and says before I was afflicted I want a stray but now I keep your word go to next one the same verse in the New Living Translation says I used to wander off until you disciplined. No, I closely follow your word. You remember that time when you just go do whatever you wanted to do? Not knowing what God said about the thing. You bring folks in your life. You kick people out. You spend money you gave money to do things. Immorally you do whatever because you never follow the word.

But the song that says I used to wonder off until you disciplined me. And just like any parent who lost their child you going to discipline your child if they're doing something that's out of line. I want it off until you discipline me now. Here's where we we mature. But now

so when I'm going through problems when I'm going through situations, I need to go to the word of God and find out what God says about the situation. Does that make sense? Keep going.

She got off the news is our problems to direct us and that's to keep us on track. Spiritually y'all can I say this? And I mean this from my heart we can't do everything that we want to do because it may not be in the best interest for us.

And it may not even it may not affect you but it could affect your children. It could affect people around you. It could affect your community. So you can't always do what you want to do.

2nd Corinthians chapter 12 verse 7 says and lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations. I'm a stop right there. This is Paul talking the Apostle Paul and he says listen.

Unless I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the Revelation. Here's a challenge sometimes when we think we're doing well. When things are working out for us. I'm getting Revelation from God. I want the nearest one of the original disciples but God is doing some amazing things in me. And sometimes when God does amazing things in you you begin to believe it's all about you.

At least I should be exact.

How did you would not believe he's poor?

Thorn In the Flesh was given to me. To keep me humble.

I be exalted. above measure and the worst people are the ones who are exulting themselves. Amen. Keep going. chapter 6 See with what large letters I have written to you with my old and Paul some some scholar said the thorn in his side was the fact that he couldn't see well. So you wrote that kept them humble. That's just one opinion. Keep going. 2nd Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9 says and he said to me my grace is sufficient for you after Paul asked God to take the thing away from him three times.

Every time you wake up in the morning every time you breathe my air every time I allow you to go from point A to point B. Grace is sufficient. So whatever I allow

Be grateful for what you have.

Everything that I do for you is a blessing. Oh, you don't have all the money you want. You got life.

You don't have all the people around you you got some people around you.

You have salvation. My grace is sufficient so sometime.

get our attention. But he would have us to go does that make sense? He said therefore most gladly. I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me. I would rather let me tell y'all that there are times when I want to do what everybody else is doing.

But I know better. I've been there done that. And it was because of God's grace and mercy that he kept me so I will tell some of us here. Quit testing God. a man keep going So God often uses problems to direct us away from sin not let me tell you this and I said this before there is no accident when it comes to singing.

There is no it was a mistake. I didn't mean to do that when it comes to send. You print it you think about it, you put yourself in situations and position you you f****** something to the point that it's taking rude and you and now the outcome of it is the action. I am so sick and tired of people coming to me since it was a mistake.

I'm so don't think I'm going to accept that. Mistake when it comes to sin.

When you do it and how you do it?

So God will direct us away from sin by using problem. You going through something. Maybe it's a as a result of sin in your life. Amen, keep going is this making sense? I ain't got all none of my notes. So the holy spirit is pouring through me a man in Psalm 119 and 35 Lord make me walk in your path make me walk in the path of your Commandments for I Delight in that so y'all until we get it in our spirit that I'd rather please God then please myself. He's always going to use situations and circumstances to get your attention. And direct you in the right way. Does that make sense?

Make me walk in the path of your Commandments. That's why I find my delight when I do right by God. You haven't been in a situation or relationship where you just get a joy of making someone else happy. What's your joy, where are the thing that just excite you is that this other person is Happy. Can you imagine having that kind of George with God? When you wake up north, I want to make you happy.

Want to walk in your commands? Then I'm happy. Cuz when I'm happy when God is happy, I'm happy. Amen. Keep going.

So the second thing God does with our problems and sometimes we go through situations and Circumstance cuz he's inspecting us. And it is pitching isn't necessarily for us because God already knows what's on the inside of us. It's for us to see the real person. So sometimes we got to go through problems and then go to Christians are like tea bags. You don't know what's in them until they get in some hot water.

Yep. I don't hear it until the water is boiling. And then everybody want God to save them.

The real you comes out when you have to go through a problem or situation or circumstance. Are you a man or woman of character? Do you have good morals? Are you trustworthy can people look at you and be an example when you're going through or are you Shady? Are you doing stuff behind the scenes and nobody would ever want to be around you if they really knew the real you.

Been through some stuff and I tell you I see those the real person when they go it's real easy to put on the show when everything is going well.

Go through some problem. You never see me at church. They isolate themselves. They got excuses. They go back to all the bad habits that God has brought them out of and they blame and everybody else but there.

Keep going. 1st Peter chapter 1 verse 6. Where an you greatly Rejoice though now for season if need be if need be You are in heaviness through manifold Temptations. The Bible says we're in you greatly Rejoice. How can you rejoice in the midst of you going through? That's what God is calling us to do there for you greatly Rejoice though. Now for a season some of us are going through things right now. The Bible calls it heaviness. Through many Temptations many problems many concerned but in the midst of all of that, he's calling us to Rejoice. Amen. Keep going. Inversely says in all this you greatly Rejoice though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief and all kinds of trout see sometimes I don't know what folks are going through. And sometimes they can come and be like, you know, what no matter what I'm going through. God is still greater. He's bigger than anything that I have and I'm going to rejoice in him. I don't care what the doctor said. I don't care what my my checkbook looks like. I don't care about what he or she is or isn't doing I am going to rejoice in the Lord. I'm going to find joy in serving God even though I'm going through and people are looking at me like what is wrong with you? And why are you doing this?

I got to tell you. This morning. I got a text to family the Williams family who comes here. They lost their grandmother my wife and I went over and pray for the family that she was transitioning out and I got the text and sometimes even in the text young man brother Jan was like, I really appreciate your support not what was me, but I really appreciate what you've done. I really appreciate what I got a chance to watch my grandmother transition from here from here to be with God forever. That's where found the joy So sometimes you can be going in and going through the midst of all kind of crisis in the midst of its find the joy of the Lord.

Keep going. So the word translated Temptation pyro smells means putting to the test. You going to go through something. So God can show you what you're made of.

The trials in The Temptations that we go through is so that God can show you who you really are. Hey, man. Oh, yeah. Thank you. That's why I have a great help me.

And having faith it's going to be tested. Give me now your faith will be tested the moment. You say you have faith in anything and especially in God, he says that the genuineness of your face being much more precious than gold that perishes though. It is tested by fire that it may be found praise. Jewelry at the revelation of Jesus Christ. You may not get everything that you need on this side. But God is going to say when things came and texted your face. You didn't give up. No, you didn't get everything you wanted, you know, it didn't work out, but you never gave up on having faith. The Bible says that the genuineness of your faith not the fake stuff not the stuff you do for people to stay off you saved and you filled with the holy snot that stuff the real genuine. They said no matter what?

And what I believe is that's the fake that's going to get tested because if if I can persuade you. More anyone can sway you from serving God then your face wasn't what you thought it was.

I keep trying to tell people quit playing with God. People show you who you really are. You keep playing and playing and playing and he keeps giving you grace and grace and grace and more grace. And then when he says I'm a step back and let you do you. And things unravel then you going to be at war with me, but all the time you knew you were playing with God. a man Keep going.

Jeremiah chapter 17 says not get this write this down. The heart is deceitful Above All Things.

Picture of what you think is right may not lined up line up with What God Says is, right. Just want to know some if you ever are in the you know, you have those situations where you go. Should I do this? Should I go there? Should I be with this person? Should I spend this money? Maybe I should buy a lotto ticket.

I don't have enough money for my rent if I buy a lotto ticket, but if I win the lotto the heart is deceitful. The minor tell you whatever you wanted to tell you a man. Are you with me? Says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked who can know it. See I will never know what's in your heart and you'll never know what's in mind. But God does you could be smiling at me said all past I like you all your great. I love your messages faster. They're great and then get by yourself and say I ain't understand a word he said

See many of us are many of us including myself in this we get into places where we start running and hiding from God. What problems will come to inspect us he says leave me on the road to everlasting life. I want you to see where my heart is deceitful I don't want you to tell me when I pretend like I like somebody and I really don't. I don't want you to check the anger in me the insecurity in you and me the anxiety of me God. I want to check I want you to check the hated me and turn it to love like you have for me. Is that makes sense? See them folks down in Virginia should have been saying God inspect my heart. They should have been saying. I realize your words at the heart is deceitful. Maybe I shouldn't be doing this. No, maybe this is your credit your Earth not mine.

Some of us God has given us direction to do a thing.

And you're not doing it because it's not what you want.

Says let patience have its perfect work. It's not going to happen when you want to have remember the children of Israel wandered around for 40 years. Some of us can deal with something for 2 minutes.

I am always shocked when people come to me and tell me after they've lost it at someone else's lost the loving. They just need to get over it. You need to grow up. How people mourn is how they more? What God is doing in their life God is doing in their life. What is too much or them? Amen? When I talk about more and I'm not off not only talking about loss of loved ones. I'm talking about relationships. When something is dead is dead. born that thing Take your time before you know, what a man your finances. You know what you broke. How did I get into this situation? Got make sure I get myself correctly before I go and do something else. Does that make sense? Because if not, you'll be in that what's it called cycle? Yes. What's that animal that keeps We all of that we're going to use all of that.

Groundhog Day Groundhog Day that's always bigger Groundhog Day. You're Not the day things keeps repeating over and over. Keep going. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. This is not a translation of verse for let it do its work. So you become mature and well-developed not deficient in any way. And I will say this whenever you going through a challenging, this is what I've learned to do. I've learned to say instead of pointing fingers. I say God. What are you saying to me? Because I'm in this situation. It's no one else's fault a man and no everyone is not going to do right by you. I remember your part of that situation and you have to go to God for yourself and ask him Laura. What do I need to do to mature a man? Keep going? So the word translated perfect means to bring to completion or maturity. So you God is not trying to make us write in all areas. But to be mature you can't get you can't argue with everything. And I learned I learned a long time ago not share this story with you where I was teaching a Bible study class and someone came up. Well, not affect the previous teacher. She was challenging everything that I said in the Bible in the Bible study class and I got in my feelings and I was like what didn't you teach the class in the Sunday School Superintendent pulled me to the side and said don't you ever relinquish your class and I was a deacon at the time but it goes to show you I wouldn't look too. I thought I was mature. I knew the word but then I let someone who is just as immature provoke me and I made a promise to God that I don't argue with people when it comes to the word of God cuz word of God speaks for itself. They may I don't have to prove anything to individuals a man I can sit and listen and it if they can listen to me we can agree to disagree or we can keep me informed but never again will I be in an argument with anyone because that's immature. Amen. Keep going for me. It was a man the phrase wanting nothing refers to liking nothing. We need to be used of God. See sometimes God will send us through things so that we lack nothing and we can always trust God that whatever we're going through. He's got our best interest at heart. Does that make sense?

Keep going. I'm almost done. So God uses our problems to get us ready to be used by him. Say that again. So God uses our problems to get us ready to be used by him some of y'all still running. Still running still trying to do the minimum amount you can do to get into heaven. That's all I'm trying to and I keep telling phone when you you cannot play. You cannot play with that when you call on the name of Jesus. He don't want to party do he wants all of you. And some of us are still acting like we still in the world doing. I want to just do enough to get to heaven.

God is using you. So that you can do work for the kingdom of God. Would be a mediocre. but being minimum go above measure. Until then we might still be repeating the same problems over and over again.

2nd Corinthians chapter 1 verse for the Bible says who comforts Us in all our tribulations that we may be able to come for those who are in any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. See when you're mature. You can understand what someone else is going through you can be patient with a man and you and you can feel what they going through cuz you've been there a limit to a person what do you need to get over there? You know your father this is that you know, but that's not what God is calling us to a man when you stop pointing your fingers and blaming other than you take on ownership in responsibility than God can use you because then you can see what other people are going through. this can be a challenging message if you take it seriously. Or you can blow it off and say that's not me. So then you need to you need to identify a situation where you can operate and Faith are we all have situation and I'm telling you my situation and any of the first lady is operating in faith for the church in the finance area. I'm believing that God is going to bring the finances that we need to have our own building not only to have our own building but they have an impact outside of those for a walk. I Believe In by that in fate and that's what the Bible tells us that we are the head and not the tail a man that were the lender and not the borrower. That's what I'm believing on. That's what I carry. So whatever you're going through whether it's a health issue relationship issue.

Individuals who are living in the shanties and stuff like that work if they pick the food and we're going to have two of the individuals who come and pick up and they put it in the car. They drive out there and they make sure those individuals are fed. Let me tell you what God is doing with UCF through this man that through others he's been he's blessing other people who may never step inside of UCF, but God is using us outside of the walls. So so know that the work that you're doing is not in vain a man. It's in a couple weeks.
