Bondage causes us to operate in opposition to the reason for our existence. Life isn't about doing what we like. Life is a Person, named Jesus, who desires to be the cause of the fullness of our satisfaction in all that we do. Life is a transfer of slavery—from a slave in bondage to a bond-slave.
