CROSSING OUR RED SEAS

TEXT: Exodus 14:14-31

 

I.   LIFE COULD BE OUR RED SEA

 

II.  IN OUR DESPERATION WE CALL ON THE LORD.

A. Israel complained, had great fear and doubt.

B. You and I do the same thing when we feel trapped.

III. THERE IS AN ANSWER DESPITE OUR FAULTS.

A.  Stand still - to set or station oneself, or to take one’s stand.

B.  Listen

C.  See.  We need to see God, and His salvation, not look around in confusion or dismay.

D.  The promise.  Isaiah 41:10

1. I AM is with you. -  God never assigns a task or appoints an ordeal without personally accompanying His people in it.

2.  I  AM is your God.

3.  I  AM will strengthen you.

4.  I  AM will help you.

5.  I  AM will uphold you. - will enable you to bear all your trials.

 

IV.  THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU.

To stop complaining.
