Main Text
(KJV 1900)
14 If a man die, shall he live again?
All the days of my appointed time will I wait,
Till my change come.
Introduction
There is no doubt that everyone in this room has a future whether that future is good or bad…but there also has to be an understanding that not one person get o another place without know or unknown transition.
You have many people who have made the statement of I don’t know how I got in this situation.
I can tell you that if you rewind your life you can go back to the time and place that started the transition where you made a decision met somebody or someone that brought you or caused you to be in the state you are in right now.
Job in our opening text was talking about change coming about in his life he was talking tot he Lord about waiting for him to call his name and answering…Job was talking about his state of mind during the time of waiting or transition or the In between…
To Transition is to change from one thing to the next, either in action or state of being…Let me say this it s possible for your to change location but have not made the mental transition to that particular place where you are.
True change has to go through a transitional period I like to call the in between…Getting married is making a change and even after you have said the I I do’s there come s a time of transitioning from the state of mind of being single and selfish to being married and sharing.
If I had some of the married brothers and sisters to testify they would tell you that transition in mind and thinking does not take place until you lived together a while.
Because even though change has taken place it still does not take away from the adjustments that have to be made.
What?
When it comes to the Lord, salvation and living in the kingdom The Lord had already declared salvation through he shedding of his blood before he went to calvary and even though it is available there stand a process in between you and salvation for you to receive it… Even though he purchased salvation for us you still have to repent get baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
I tell you all this and I want to reiterate this to you again God works for the end results so everything he allows you to go through…everyone he allows to leave you, every job that released you is to transition your mind for the the change.
You see the in between things you go through are not to bring you to a physical place at least not for God he brought Phillip to the Ethiopian Eunuch in the blink of an eye…so it not about physical location it is about mental maturity of thinking and you learning how to conduct yourself for the prepared position.
You see when you don’t have a clear understanding that your issues and situation you have been allowed to go through is for you to grow to not to destroy you…We all know the whole story concerning Job and all that he has been through but yet we pick up this scripture where he says All the days of my appointed time will I wait, Till my change come.
Job also said in (KJV 1900)
15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:
But I will maintain mine own ways before him.
he said in my in between I will maintain my own ways I will not pick up bitterness I will no accuse others of my situation or my circumstances…why because I trust the Lord…You remember him telling his own wife after her telling him to curse God and die in (KJV 1900)
10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh.
What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?
In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
You see your in between the stuff you are going through right now it is not about somebody trying to get you mess over you or everybody being against it’s about and ending…for scripture tells us that better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.
It is important that you understand why you go through or are going through what you are going through and understand that even if you messed yourself up or got yourself in a bad situation or fix God is still able through your repentance and your acknowledgment to fix but you have to stop playing victim and start living and waiting it out.
We too many times ask for destinies but despise the processes it takes to get us to those desired places…the longer you despises the process the longer it takes to get to the destination.
You need encouragers when you are in between your past and your future I don’t need a complaining buddy I need a encouraging brother or sister because a group of people drowning in their sorrow soon becomes a group of sorry people.....I’m sorry I did this or I did that…now get your sorry self up and take what you got and work with it.
If we prayed more for our problems and situations and asked for revelation concerning the situation we could through with peace and comfort knowing everything is going to be alright.
Why?
You see in the in between to keep your joy…your sanity and your peace…you have to know who you are…what you are purposed for and what your end is going to be…you have to keep you eyes on the prize…don’t speak the seen issues speak the end results that you want to see.
No matter how bleak things may look now what do you want them to become…and whatever you want them to become then that’s what you have to speak…How strong do you want to be then that what you have to speak for the bible declares let the weak say I am strong.
The Apostle Paul knew who he was and what he had a transformed thinking that did not change according to what he went though.... (KJV Strong's) 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things?
If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?
It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth?
It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
