Are You An Encourager Or Accuser?

Are you known as an encourager or as a destroyer? Do your words bring life or death? Are you encouraging others with love and concern or are you recognized as someone who brings accusation and condemnation?

“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness” (Heb. 3:13)

God’s Word exhorts us that in order for us to prevent having an unbelieving heart, we need to be in fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We need each other to build each other’s faith as we talk daily about what God is doing in our lives. We must realize that if we are not encouraging others, we can become hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Print this letter. Post it on your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, or where you can daily read the following “In Christ Jesus” statements out loud. Each day for the next month, read them out loud to yourself. Early mornings or late evenings are great times. Refer to these powerful statements often. As you declare God’s Word out loud, you’ll begin realizing the life changing truth of God’s promises for you.

Read this to your children. Give this to your neighbors. Share this with those in your area of influence. Be an encouragement to someone today!
