Untitled Sermon

Last week we ended by King Agrippa and Festus realizing Paul would have been able to be set free had he not appealed to Caesar. During our Bible study on Tuesday we looked into the storm at sea and the subsequent shipwreck that Paul experienced on his way to Rome on the island of Malta. We saw how he was able to heal and bring the gospel there. This is the situation that provides an immediate context to the passage we will be looking at today.

Today we will be looking at the last portion of our series on the book of Acts which speaks of the fulfillment of the author’s recorded prophecy regarding the Holy Spirit empowering the apostles to fulfill God’s purpose of spreading the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
