Mark 9:42 NKJV
42 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.
Mark 9:

How do you lead a child to Christ?

Remember sharing Jesus with a child is an ongoing dialogue.

Step 1: God Loves You.

John 3:16 NLT
16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave His only Son [Jesus], so that everyone who believes in Him would not be lost but have eternal life.

Step 2: Sin Gets In The Way.

It is your sins that separate you from your God. The Lord turns away from you when He sees them.

What is Sin?
Have you ever sinned?

Step 3: Jesus Gets Rid of Sin

Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and in that way God showed how much He loves us.

Step 4: Accept Jesus

Everyone who believes in Jesus will have their sins forgiven through His name.

Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father [God] is through Me.

How to Accept Jesus? 1. Tell Him you need Him. 2. Be sorry for you sin. 3. Believe that Jesus died for you and rose again.

At this point you stop and ask several questions.

1. Do you have any questions about what we have talked about? 2. What is sin? 3. Who is Jesus? 4. What did Jesus do? 5. What does it mean to believe in Jesus? 6. What does it mean to follow Jesus.

This conversation can take months or even years.

How do you know when a child is ready? 1, They must have a thorough knowledge of the Gospel. 2. They have understand the statement, “Jesus died for my sin.” 3. Consistent desire to be saved.

Step 5: What To Pray (Out Loud)?

Dear Jesus, I know that I sin, and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I believe You died on the cross and rose again to pay for my sins. Thank you for putting me back together with God again. Amen.

Step 6: God’s Gift To You.

Everyone who trusts in the Lord God will be saved. Nothing will be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Jesus Christ. ,
