Why did Jesus use Parables to teach the people?
A. The Answer is two fold.
1. Gospel was first given to the Jews
2. Jesus wanted only those Jews that chose to understand.
BODY:
1. THE GOSPEL WAS FIRST GIVEN TO THE JEWS.
A. The Great Commission had not be given.
B. The Limited Commission of was still in affect.
C. Cornelius was the first recorded Gentile to be converted.
2. JESUS WANTED ONLY THOSE JEWS THAT CHOSE TO UNDERSTAND.
A. The parables are not impossible to understand.

All one must do to understand the parables is seek the answer.
A. If a person is seeking the truth they will find it.

The truth was there for people that want to find it but hidden from those that don’t really want to find.
2. All we have to have to understand the parables is a love for truth.
3. God’s word which the parable are a part of is truth.
3. LASTLY JESUS SPOKE TO THEM IN PARABLES BECAUSE IT FULFILLED PROPHECY.
