Saying Goodbye
Saying goodbye is so hard.
However, it is something we are constantly called upon to do.
· When our “kids” struggle away from the “nest” we feel helpless.
Our minds often start to go into a frenzied state of “what if”.
· When crime places our loved one behind bars it leaves us helpless & angry – even to the point of possibly questioning if God hears our prayers.
· When divorce splits a family, the goodbyes become a cruel joke.
The innocent sinned against party never seems to fully recover.
The kids are used like emotional pawns.
And friends and family are forced to choose.
· When death makes the goodbyes permanent, it leaves us broken and lost.
No amount of comforting or counseling seems to help.
All these goodbyes have one thing in common – an overwhelming sense of loss.
So how do we heal an anxious, broken, sad, lost, or empty heart?
By meditating on His word, we allow the Great Physician to medicate our heart.

May God always keep us in a constant stage of contentment – may we experience His joy and peace even in the darkest, deepest valley.
May God always keep us in a constant stage of contentment – may we experience His joy and peace even in the darkest, deepest valley.
