According to the scripture, We have discovered that God uses dreams to speak to us, because it is a spiritual channel that connects this dimension with the spirit world.
Note that I did not say, “God is the only one who speaks through dreams” at least, two other person can:
our minds could play prank on us through the multitude of business and gives us unrealistic empty dreams.
Satan also can use dreams as an avenue to get to a person’s life - remember satan is a spirit. a person without physical body.
Please pay attention to this
1. God brought a certain play to my notice, and I watched it side by side with my wife:
In the play, the husband had a dream that some evil cult some were beating the wife and they injured her, in the dream she was bleeding and groaning. He woke up instantly to discovered that what happened in the dream actually happened to his wife, he found the wife in another room, bleeding, and groaning, and eventually she died.
the evil that was played out in his dream happened in reality.
2. one more dream and we will move on: There was this young man, every time he was about to experience a major break through in his life, he would have this particular dream:
he would always dream that he is making love to a woman/ lady in his dream.
in his wake up life, no matter how feasible the opportunity had been before that dream, he always loose the opportunity.
and the dream went on for many years in his life until he went for deliverance.
Why did I picked this dreams?
Why did I picked this dreams?
1. Dreams is a vehicle that carry to us the knowledge of what goes on in the spiritual realm, it is a revelation of the reality of the unseen world, and the truth is this: “ dreams exposes us at our weakest moments”
so, if your salvation is not genuine, your spirit is not strengthened to contend with the enemies of your soul on that battle ground.
16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary; And they shall walk, and not faint.
in your dream realm you need the strength of God to mount up with wings.
2. To establish the reality of the activities of the Spirit world - if anyone says to you that there is no demon, or that the africans are superstitious in their beliefs, please tell them they are ignorant:
1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision. 2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. 4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; 5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: 6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. 7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. 8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. 10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
20 Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? But now I will return to fight against the prince of Persia; and when I go out, behold, the prince of Greece will come. 21 But I will tell you what is inscribed in the book of truth: there is none who contends by my side against these except Michael, your prince.
Gabriel said to Daniel in that vision, as i was coming i was delayed by the forces of devil - the prince of persia. he also said, when i would be returning, i would be contending with not just the prince of persia but also the prince of greece.
now gabriel mentioned something important for the christians, gabriel mentioned that he received help from Michael, the guidance angel of Daniel, or Israel as a nation.
the spiritual realm is real, and its in a constant battle between the forces of darkeness and good. the side you belong is what determines what happens in your dream.

And they came to the woman by night. And he said, “Divine for me by a spirit and bring up for me whomever I shall name to you.” 9 The woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the necromancers from the land. Why then are you laying a trap for my life to bring about my death?” 10 But Saul swore to her by the Lord, “As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.” 11 Then the woman said, “Whom shall I bring up for you?” He said, “Bring up Samuel for me.” 12 When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul.” 13 The king said to her, “Do not be afraid. What do you see?” And the woman said to Saul, “I see a god coming up out of the earth.” 14 He said to her, “What is his appearance?” And she said, “An old man is coming up, and he is wrapped in a robe.” And Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground and paid homage.

the woman saw a god coming up: god small letter - used to denote satanic spirits camouflaging like samuel
she gave a description of the spirit...
so, if anyone says the spirit world is not real, they are deceiving you.

some key words:
The reality of God and satan, and the limitation of the power of satan.
satan gave a vivid description of what he sees around a disciple of Jesus Christ that is not visible to you and your friends.
God have put a hedge around Job, around his house and around all that he has - God made him untouchable for satan, whether sleeping or not sleeping. God is the one who bless him and increase him.
you should know that the opposite is the reality that an unbeliever faces.

before we close today, I will say this: satanic dreams have their specific symbols:
it is usually dark.
it is recurrent at specific points in a persons life
it creates fear and not hope
Some common ones:

stabbing in a dream
making love to a strange woman in a dream
someone collecting your money in a dream and so on

be on the Lord side.
24 If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
