Avoiding Regrets in the Christian Home

2 Timothy 4:6–7 KJV 1900
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
The Christian Home is the foundation for the family......
In our culture it has been hijacked by:
Busyness
Children's sports programs
Working to get more stuff
Over infatuation with entertainment
Binge Streaming of TV
Internet nothingness
Video games
All of this leads to regrets

Deep feelings of sorrow arising from past events now seen as sins, mistakes or misfortunes. It can either lead to true repentance or destructive bitterness

What are some practical steps we can take to address the destruction of the home:

I Read Gods Word Daily as a family

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV 1900
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Have time and a place to read the scriptures

II Pray Together as a Family

Deuteronomy 6:7 KJV 1900
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

lets your family know concerns share them together

III Remove Negative Associations

IV Evaluate your time and content of digital media
