Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

One of the most important scriptures in our Bible
Therefore
God is actively seeking to conform us into his image
He proved it by seeking after Adam
2 Corinthians chapter 5 deals with our Heavenly dwelling
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
Chapter 5 gives us a change of perspective regarding our position in Christ.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
He is a new creation - A wonderful act of the Holy Spirit
God wants to live inside of us
If we could just understand this - We could get past 3 types of people that are in our churches
#1 People with memory loss
#2 Pew pleasers
#3 Entitlement Thinkers (Entitlement Theology)
We need thankful people
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;
