Sometimes you speak to the mountain and sometimes you climb the mountain.
“I am going to do something a little different today, can you give me just a minute and don’t get mad at me for it.”
Show flight of the Bumble Bee
The only fight the Bible speaks to us about is the fight of faith.
Keeping our faith in the midst of perusing the dream.
It is when we are climbing a mountain when we are going to make the dream or the dream will die.
Today I want to share with you four principles to climbing the mountain.
Climb the rope
#1-Dedication to the Climb
Joshua 24:15
Joshua was told by God that he would replace Moses as the leader of the Children of Israel.
Joshua 1:
Joshua gave his final words to the Children of Israel and told them they needed to choose who they were going to serve, but he was going to serve the Lord.
God gives us dream, but it takes dedication to the dream, when you want to quit you are dedicated to finish.
#2-Prepare and Keep Preparing.
Preparation time is never waisted time.
Kenneth Hagin
The dream does not just happen overnight, it takes daily preparation to finish the dream.
Preparation helps us to endure the hard times when we feel like we want to quit.
When you prepare to run up the mountain you will conquer the mountain.
Running up hill you take shorter strides and move your arms faster.
Preparation helps you to understand things that you don’t know, and helps you overcome obstacles while you are climbing.
#3-You WILL want to Quit
2 Corinthians 11:
II Corinthians 11:25-
Paul went through so much, but he said he still had a burden for the churches.
In the midst of the climb, Paul still saw the dream.
We will want to quit, but we must press on.
Life will deal us pain, but we can take the pain.
How much pain you can endure will determine how big of a mountain you can climb!
#4-There is the Other Side
There is a reward!
There is the other side of the mountain.
We have to be willing to climb the mountain if you are going to see the other side.
Have Amy Sing- “The Climb’
Brock play the climb soundtrack in the background for the alter call.
Final Thoughts
We have to remember God built you for the dream, He is with us.
