Where does wisdom come from?

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

wilfulness is folly, wisdom is to be found in God’s will and nowhere else.

To be sure, we shall find general principles in Scripture to guide us, but detailed decisions have to be made after careful thought and prayer and the seeking of advice from mature and experienced believers.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Singing songs, giving thanks, and submission are the overflow of the Spirit-filled life.
Under the influence of alcohol we lose control.
Under the influence of the Holy Spirit we do not lose control; we gain it.
Alcohol hides reality allowing us to forget our problems.
The Holy Spirit opens us up to the greater reality of what is available now in Christ.
As children of light, what are you hiding from?
The greatest wisdom ever revealed to us is the Love and unshakable acceptance God has for you because of the sacrifice of Jesus.
That revelation removes all fear and allows us to let the Holy Spirit shine his light into the darkest places of our hearts.
