AIM
(Read 2 Samuel 11-12)
THE CONVICTION/REVELATION
THE PRAYER/PLEA/CRY/REPENTANCE
Psalm 19:13 NASB95
13 Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.
Psalm 19:3 NASB95
3 There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard.
CONFESSION
Psalm 51:11–12 NASB95
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.
Without forgiveness a person has the feeling he has been abandoned by the Lord and loses the joy of being saved. The only way to experience happiness and God’s nearness is confessing the sins God reveals to us.
THE PARDON/REGRET
Psalm 32:1 NASB95
1 How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!
THE PEACE/RENEWAL (6-12)
THE PRAISE
CONCLUSION
