Throughout our society, there seems to be a decline in terms of commitment. The loyalty of employees to their companies doesn’t appear to be as strong as it once was. Getting friends to give a definitive answer in regards to making plans can be frustratingly difficult. Even commitments as important as marriage and family are often held quite loosely. It’s no surprise, then, that the concern expressed for the Church seems to be waning as well. Paul, however, demonstrated a true concern for the Thessalonian church, so much so that he sent his protégé Timothy to check in on that body of believers. We invite you to join us as we study what “Gospel Concern for the Church” looks like in 1 Thess. 3:1-13.
