The Perfect Principle of Mathematics.

 It Never Fails

 It is Always Precise

 Not One moment of Slippage/Titage, Wobble or going off track at all! (SYNONMYS)

So, Were mathematics given so you and I could be mathematically Perfect @ all times?

 No! They were given as a guide/ a guard / a rule to set the World against and measure the

world by?

So, Why do we need math at all?

 Because things are Un-level, unequal, uneven, off-kilter, off course and without Math, we

would never have a standard to get them back in-line by!

So it is with the Law that was passed down to Abraham & Moses in the OT

 The Law is a guardian / a guide / a wall, keeping you on the path and out of the forest!

 The law was NEVER meant to Provide / Lead or Guide You to Perfection, ANY MORE than

knowing & applying MATH would ever lead you to become perfectly mathematical!

 In the same way, the law shows you the way, but give you NO POWER to walk on the Way.

 A Level can show you if you are level, or off-level.

A level cannot move the foundation, the

board, the wall or the door for you, it can only show you the direction in which things need to

go...

 And so it is with the Law!

 The Law guides us, shows us and directs us in the way to go!

 But it NEVER had the power to put us on the path!

– image… why are we still trying to bear our own iniquities and make ourselves right before GOD, when that is exactly why JESUS come, lived, died, rose and intercedes before the throne of GOD on your behalf today, believer?

BETTER – We are Like Little Red-Riding hood, running off the path into the forest, EXCEPT, GOD GAVE YOU AND I THE LAW, to be a WALL TO GUIDE US!, we stray away from the wall and finding great joy in finding the Wall once again…

- The law does not CHANGE US, it GUIDES US

- The law does not LEVEL US, it LEADS US

HOW ARE YOU USING THE LAW? – for yourself?

Others and with GOD?

TO LEAD, TO LEAN ON, OR TO LEGALLY DEFEND YOUR SINFUL SOUL?

Today, we must see what it looks like to use the Law for evil as the devil wants us to, and how to use it for good, as GOD intended it.

If you don’t learn this lesson, you will live your life in misery, even past salvation, for you will depend on you and not on GOD, all the days you are given life.

FIRSt… How to use the law to support the forces of evil..

1.

With yourself – Save, Sanctify and Glorify yourself with it!

– [traffic sign] - Looking to Perfect, Meant to Protect!

2. With others – Judge and condemn – leave them hopeless – [not like JESUS] Are you Leading them to Trust JESUS, or themselves?

3.

With GOD – defend yourself before GOD with your good deeds!

– [hitler] - you are saying your quiet time is better than Hitler’s… really?

-We THINK it don’t we?!?!?!

We have seen how the devil would have us to use the law, to build up our sinful self-righteousness, to tear down others and to belittle GOD’s Great Grace and Love for us…

NOW… How to use the law to support the forces of good… as GOD intended!

1.

With yourself – let it convict you and lead you back to JESUS! – [jewish teacher] - REMEMBER, the law is here to protect you Child of GOD… not perfect you.

That Rabbi, missed the blessing cause he was trying to be perfecting!

2. With others – let it convict them and show them their need for JESUS today! - [not PERFECT, but never could be or needed to be, because JESUS was! Amen!] THIS TIME, you use the law to show them the perfection!

You show them that JESUS’ Perfection, IS their PROTECTION!

And Yours!

Amen!

With GOD – Praise HIM for the guardian and for Fully Fulfilling the demands of the Law in JESUS CHRIST! - We Get our Praise on because JESUS Got his RAISE ON =) It’s True!

His Resurrection, means our Salvation is Secure, Forever!

GOD gave us the law, TO SHOW YOU THAT, YOUR PROTECTION, COMES FROM GOD’S PERFECTION!

THE LAW SHOWS US and others our daily need for GOD’S Amazing Grace, Peace and Strength to live this Life for HIS Glory!

So… How are you using the Law?

- For protection or as perfection?

- One will leave you in despair (EVEN IF YOU ARE SAVED)

- One ends in weeping hopelessness.

- One ends in Joyful Praise

THIS WEEK: Ask yourself, what am I depending on to make me OK with GOD?

- Every time you feel the temptation of sin creeping in and you feel the despair and shame of the flesh telling you, you are a sinner, hoping you will forget you are a forgiven Saint in JESUS CHRIST,

- RIGHT THERE, AT THAT MOMENT, STOP!

- Pray

- Say GOD, help me depend on what you have done, not what I do for my strength and my salvation!

- Ask GOD to give you strength,

- Tell GOD you know HE has already defeated this sin and you are going to trust in HIM for this moment.

- The Law Shows us our Sin and shows us what is good, but never gives us power to do it...

-- We fail - the Law was never meant to empower you!

- - We Fall - the Law Protects you but will never Perfect you!

- - We sin - the Law shows you, your Need for the Savior but will never Save you!

- THE LAW should NOT be what we lean on... it should be a JOYFUL REMINDER that we cannot lean

-on the law, it will CRUSH EVERY ONE OF US!

- - The LAW is a REMINDER of what JESUS has already fulfilled, accomplished and Done for us!

-When we see the perfection of the Law, we should see the Perfect ONE, JESUS who already did that

-law for us, that we may not just have HIS life, but also HIS Righteousness on us...

-

- - THAT IS GRACE.

- - GRACE shows us

- So What Good is the Law now?

-  Same as always...

-  It Levels, it leads, it guides us and shows us the proper path to take, every day!

-  JESUS empowers us to take that path.

-  Which is why we walk towards living a life that leads others to JESUS CHRIST!

- That is exactly what we will look at next week.

-  Knowing upfront, that it is not in you or I to do any part of it, apart from JESUS!

-  Let us Pray

-  Amen!

The law shows you, what is sin.

It that sense it protects you from not knowing which way to go when temptation comes.

- Your flesh will tell you, to suck it up, depend on you, and you can keep the law

- REMEMBER, JESUS ALREADY KEPT THE LAW, and Sin has no dominion over you, not because you are a super-saint, not because you are perfect, but because JESUS is in you!!

GOD gives you the strength you need to live your life, depending, leaning and trusting in HIM.

What do you do with that temptation.

You let the law show you, your sin

And now that you know the way you should not go.

You let that law, lead you back to JESUS

JESUS is where your strength is

JESUS is where your forgiveness is

JESUS is where your hope is

TODAY, and Every Day, REMEMBER, JESUS is not your something, HE is your everything!
