Opening

Did you ever wonder what is the Purpose of your life?

God’s purpose will be accomplished

What the heck am I here for?
If you remember exactly a month ago I shared the story about Delphine & Tom. The couple hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from the border of Mexico to the border of Canada. Guess what? I got an email from her. She said they went pass Warner Springs then they climb Mount San Jacinto and the to Big Bear. They are both doing ok and trying to stay warm. They decided to do this because of their quest to find the Purpose of their lives, to accomplish something worthwhile and meaningful.
Living without God’s plan for our life is like:
1. Sewing with a needle without thread
2. Writing one’s biography with a pen empty of ink.

God’s purpose will be accomplished

Isaiah 46:10–11 NIV
10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ 11 From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.
Isaiah 46:10 NIV
I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’

1500 Illustrations for Biblical Preaching Life’s Purpose (for Unbeliever)

A father went into a toy store to buy his son a Christmas present. The salesman showed him a new educational toy. It came unassembled, but no matter how the child put the pieces together, they wouldn’t fit. You see, the toy was designed to teach the child how to deal with life.

Such is the predicament of man without God. He is never able to put his life together. A life without Christ is a life of futility
