The biblical response to marriage for a man is to leave the critical relational covering of the past and then cleave to his wife.

Marriage was not an afterthought of God.
It wasn't the next step in the evolutionary process.

Man- becomes the spiritual leader in his home
The pastor- commissioned be God to nurture those under his care to be healthy and productive.
The connection would be so strong in that relationship that nothing breaks was designed to break this bond.
Like the marriage the connection formed in the church through Christ was to be an unbreakable covenant.
Today marriages face tremendous challenges. The culure tells us that giving the right circumstances all things have a natural ending.
