What has been BULLYING your around?

What in your LIFE can you decide this weekend you will DEFEAT..IN JESUS NAME!

NAME your BULLY!

And PICK a FIGHT this weekend!

David Picks a FIGHT!

- This is modern day Jerusalem - David wanted a central located place to build his home and the Home of GOD -

- small city guarded by 3 valleys and protected by a wall - so it was said to be a strategic nightmare - because it involved attacking UP - taking higher ground -

- phrase repeated over and over - “blind and the lame ward you off”

David could have easily just Settled for Hebron - He could have just settled in as King - became the most powerful nation - but there was a conquest he wanted - there was HILL he wanted to fight for - there was more - He wanted what Israel had feared for so long

David knew the JERUSALEM was GOD’s country!

David Knew His destiny was JERUSALEM –

- There were stories of the Jebusites - how fierce they were - how diabolical they were - They use Psychological warfare on the Israelites

BLIND and LAMB is mentioned 3 times in just 5 verses - WHY?

- Rabbis taught that the JEBUSITES would TAUNT Israelites

- Hang Dummies on their Walls – One that Was BLIND Mocking one of the heros of the Faith ISAAC –

LAME Jacob – walks with a LIMP – Hip out of Joint –

Exactly what the DEVIL Does he uses PSYCHOLOGICAL warfare to TAUNT US

You have not VISION –

· You can’t see past your SIN –

· You can’t see past your PROBLEM

You are LAME

· You are Flawed because of your FAILURE

· You’re divorced what makes you think that God will still use you!

· You Insecurities will always cripple you!

- A LIONS Roar is meant to SHOW Dominance – Lions typically Roar just before Dark to remind every other LION this is their TERRITORY – the only thing that will SILENCE a LIONS Roar is the ROAR of a more POWERFUL LION!

David DIDN’T listen or LOOK at any of this –

He knew this was his VICTORY –

The reason you have been fighting up to this POINT for everything is because you are FAVORED!
