(don’t know people; leaving mom and dad or other peoole who care about you

Now, you have told us that you are excited by it almost being summer.

Do you still feel nervous/anxious about school tomorrow?

No? What has helped you throughout the school year to feel better and better?

(notes from parents, teacher talking to you or sitting next to you, or either a new friend or an old friend) Other people helped you feel better by reminding you that your aprent or grandparent would come and get you and take you home.

In our Bible story for today from , Jesus (who was a Rabbi or “teacher”) was talking with his students (the “disciples”) and had told them that soon they would not see him.

How do you think they felt?

Sad? Scared?

· Jesus told them that he would not leave them alone but that he would send another in his place: his spirit to be exact

sends spirit = teacher, parent, to remind them of his love, which he keeps showing to people

Just like the teachers, new and previous friends, and reminders from our parents, Jesus reminds us his spirit is with us through the love and care other show to us in his name
