Jesus promised that he would be where there were two or three that were gathered in his name.
We have the privilege of creating the culture of this new community of faith.
We come with the expectation that God will move in this place.
We need no entertainment or be in the right mood for it.
We need God’s presence, God’s salvation.
We need a real reason to celebrate that God is here.
But above all, the overflow of God’s presence will cause his Holy Spirit will cause in us to unleash the power to speak God’s word into their lives.
When we gather, God’s presence is in that place.

Zachariah was surprised

Gabriel is a little sassy.
He reminds Zachariah that, Zachariah is a one time guest.
Zachariah gets to be in God’s presence once in a lifetime.
But Gabriel, he dwells and stands in the very presence of God.
He makes it obvious to Zachariah that Zachariah has no clue of God’s plans because he has no ability to see God face to face, but Gabriel does.
