What it means to be a disciple

Luke 5:27
Luke 5:27–28 NKJV
After these things He went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he left all, rose up, and followed Him.
You hear the calling - follow Me -
You respond to the calling - not by merit but by the empowering of the presence of God!
2 Timothy 1:9 NKJV
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
Now we have a best friend, a best teacher, a best counselor. A mighty fortress. All of Christ living in us! wow!!!
Now we are ready to leave all behind!
1st by leaving all behind

So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.
2nd by getting up and moving forward! Now stay IN CHRIST! hang with Him...
