Moabite who had more faith than Naomi- Foreign land when she believed in God and became a part of Israel.
Moabites were forbidden from entering the congregation of Israel
She exemplified the faith of Gentiles, women, and God’s inclusive love
She was determined to live an obedient life no matter the cost.
Her faithfulness to God and her loyalty to her mother-in-law was blessed.
God gave her favor; out of all the fields she went to Boaz.
Boaz- Naomi’s family redeemer.
She would be the catalyst that would bring Naomi out of depression.

Canaanite from Jericho- foreign land when she believed in God and became a part of Israel
She was a prostitute who lived in the wall
Thought of others
was spared and adopted into Israel through marriage to Salmon
Worried about others over herself
Is an example of the power of repentance
Rabbinic tradition says she was one of the four most beautiful women in the world
She is an ancestress of eight prophets (including Jeremiah)
Her fidelity to her country would in her case have been infidelity to God and that higher duty to her Maker eclipsed the lower duty to her country
Hall of Faith:
These all died in faith, although they had not received the things that were promised. But they saw them from a distance, greeted them, and confessed that they were foreigners and temporary residents on the earth.
By faith Rahab the prostitute welcomed the spies in peace and didn’t perish with those who disobeyed.
James said it was her works of faith that justified her
In the same way, wasn’t Rahab the prostitute also justified by works in receiving the messengers and sending them out by a different route?

Mothers you never truly know who you are going to be raising, so raise them with your focus on God is going to use them for something BIG!!!!
