A Psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
THE 23RD Psalm paints such a pretty picture of the Lord leading us his sheep in verse 5 we get to the our cup running over meaning that God has blessed us with more than we need… But to be honest we find that life has beaten and abused us, our ends don’t meet and some of us can’t even find our cup to have it filled by God. Lets try to help some of us today..

We hear all that the world has to say but nothing God has to say we live our lives according to the madness sin has in store for us instead of hearing what sayest the Lord only you can turn your cup right side up..

I hear you Lord I’ve learned to hear your voice and yet I still find that my cup is not filled.. some us have have been beaten and abused by life done some things we are now proud of .. Some of us even wonder just how can God forgive some like me.. Upon closer inspection we find that these cups have cracks or we’ve let life beat us so that we went off got upset and in a raged turned over the table and knocked our cup on the floor… sin has a way of keeping us from receiving all that God has for us, sin will always keep you longer then you wanted to stay and take you further then you had planned on going.. whatever it is that you dealing with that has you feeling unworthy or prevents you from living the rich life that God has for you..

Sin leaves our cups cracked and tarnished some things we need to learn how to depend on Jesus and take our cracked and tarnished
In the military we had to keep our gear clean and shinning they gave some called brasso that we would take and begin to polish and rub and polish to remove the tarnish that had built up .. SOME STAINS you just have to scrub to get out… there is product on the market that says sometimes when scrubbing wont do. We need to shout it out is there someone in the house today that no matter how hard you try to get your life right (life still happens) you may need to shout it out, no matter how much you try to go in the right direction you find your self down the wrong road you need to shout it out

when we take our cups and placed them in the potters hand for in the potters hand he will mend any chips and cracks. In the potters hand he will makes us brand new..

Because of Christ what was dirty is now clean
that which was lost is now found
we that were condemned are now saved
that which was old is now new
I looked at my hands and they look new, , I looked and my feet and they look new, I looked at my heart and its new too.. My life was raggidty now its new
when you put it in Jesus hands
Has we are present to God cleansed of all of our sins,
