Review of Weeks 1-4

I Am the Way
I Am the Truth
I Am the Life
No one comes to the Father Except by Me
Feedback:
The only way we can get to the Father is through Jesus
The only true path
The only true measure of righteousness
What about those who don’t know Christ? Other countries or just other families different from mine? Sounds to exclusive…don’t understand it.
He lights the way to the Father - light,, love, compassion, guide
Religious propaganda to keep people dependent on the big business of religion; once you know the kingdom of heaven is within you the search end.
the only way to Father/Salvation/Heaven is to walk in the ways of Jesus and believe in His truths, if you don’t it’s unattainable
Very exclusive - a truly unconditionally loving being would not make themselves so exclusive. If “God is love”, isn’t Love inclusive.
We all have the kingdom of God within us. We came here to remember who we are. Jesus was enlightened and provided by example a path to life love and truth by being that himself. We are encouraged to do the same and remind others who they are.
Lot of different interpretations - from it’s propaganda, to it’s the only way, to it’s an invitation to follow his ways, to concerns about exclusivity....
So what is the right answer?
If I told you that I’m the only way to get to Greg, then it makes me seem like a body guard....I’m pretty sure Jesus wasn’t setting himself up as a body guard.
So let’s look at original language....If you look back at the original greek the word translated to signifies movement - like toward....it reminds me of Come near to God, and he will come near to you.
No one comes near God but by me.
Jesus and the Father are one - the same, Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in God....
If you understand what Jesus has said, then you can understand the Father.
No on comes to Greg but by me.
