17 And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. 3 Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, 4 and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

Increase Our Faith

5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” 6 And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Taking your faith to the next level

Our faith is the anchor of our life. 231 times in the bible but only twice in the OT.

The first time you hear faith in OT it says they had none, 2nd time in Habakuk says the just shall live by faith.

2 Greek words for Faith - the man's persuasion and the other man's refusal to accept it.

Jesus speaks of Little faith and great faith.

What level of faith are you believing from.

How many level of faith are there? Two levels.

Faith and the Word are the same thing. The word of God is timely I. The right season. The measure of our faith is the Word. Believing takes your resolve to the next level.

Teachers and those who need to be taught, milk and meat level are the two levels.

Milk level or Meat level

Verse 13

Milk - unskillful, inexperienced, baby

Meat - matured level

We all started off as babes in Christ. But milk is designed for you to grow. If you are not growing then something is wrong with you are something is wrong with the milk. It is impossible to have the right diet and not grow. You have to find out what is wrong you can't have the same struggles everyday.

The Word of God is both the milk and the meat. You got to shift to the level of maturity. You cannot be children to be tossed too and fro with every wind of doctrine. One cause you to grow the other trick you to think you are growing.

One grows you,mother other deceives you.

False information giving people will hold you back and keep you down and you have to know the difference and not be tricked.one gives while the other takes. One makes you better the other makes you worst and both messages are in the church today. Faith does not give you control over God but gives God control over you. Faith does not give you everything you want in life but prepares you for everything you will face in life.

When the truth hints the right place it grows you and no one can stop you from getting to the next level.

strong meat belongs to those who are of full age age and it helps you to discern between good and evil on the internet etc.

If you do not like what you are becoming then decide to change it because no one else can do it for you. You have to decide to change what you do not like.

The bible tells us we have to grow and we have to practise what you want to become.

You are what you hang around. Don't talk about what you want to be until you are ready to change what you are.

Be children in malice and strife but be a man in understanding. Grow in your understanding. That's where your victories are. He will grow you in understanding.

When you refuse to grow you hinder what God has for you. 1cor:1

There are stuff God wants to give to us but we are stuck on the baby milk foolishness.

All you have to do to get the stuff God has for you is to grow up.

When I was a child I spoke as a child .... But now as a man you have to put away childish things.

God's way of responding to you is different from the church's way of responding to you. God responds to you based on your faith. See the story of the Master and his vineyard and hiring people. The immature people had a problem with the wages.

Jesus said the last shall be first and the first shall be last. How quick are you willing to grow up so God can shift you.

Jesus is everything to me, you have to get to the place. When the devil comes He investigates.

The seed is the only thing that has a promise in it. When you hear a word that has a promise in it for you sow in it.
