(Slide) That is not what we are here to look at tonight but at the Ancient of Days judgment against the 4th beast
I. (Slide) The Vision/Prophesy of Daniel (vv. 9-12)
(Slide) Daniel was riveted by the vision, keep looking to understand.
(We are not given the interpretation until we get to vv. 15-28)
So we can see thrones are set up, who is on them?
We are not told, What we can tell is that the Ancient of Days took His seat.
When the king sits, it is to sit in judgment.
We have a description of the ancient of days too.

We are seeing a prophetic picture of the final judgment against Rome, the 4th beast

(Slide) And fire, fire is symbolic of utter defeat and destruction.
(Slide) Though we may not fully understand the prophetic picture here we can picture that the deeds of man and written and accounted for when the books are opened.

(Slide) So now, how do we deal with (v.12)?
(Slide) Ever heard the term “when in Rome do as the Romans do?” -Rome incorporated the others, Babylon, Persians/Mead's, Greece all into their wicked ways - Our world has done that too, hasn’t it?
In you see the beast there (Rome) and it is described as leopard, bear and lion.

(Slide) In Daniel it is Prophesy looking forward and it is a lion, bear, and a leopard; in Revelation it looking back and says leopard, bear and lion.
(Slide) This world today looks too much like Rome and not enough like heaven.
- To the Christian we have the hope, the Rock in which we stand, we have our Messiah, our Savior, our Deliverer.
Well in there is a messiah, representing the saints too.
II.(Slide)
A son of man presented (vv.
13-14)
(slide) Important to note (v.13) says “a son of man” it does not say “The Son of Man”
(Slide) So we have a son of man - one created in the image of God and the beast.
(Slide) One comes from God, divine, the other from the earth
(Slide) One to fulfill the will of God the other from the fighting, brawling, wars of nations
You have heard the 1000 year reign theory before right?
Here we see a debunk to that theory -
You may be familiar with the “1000 year reign” - this passage is one of the passages debunking that theory.
(Slide) Look closely and you will not see the Son of Man coming to set up kingdom on earth, to present himself to man here
(Slide) What you will see is a man presenting himself before the Ancient of Days.

There is vision here of what is history in Revelation
This is a picture of a judgment scene of God.
Judgment is coming, your judgment if you belong to Christ is on Him.
He took it for you!
