There is a song I would like you to think about and let the words and the melody flow through your thoughts for a moment: Jesus Love Me
Have the people stand for reading the Word of God.
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.
Pray after reading the Word.
There it is folks. You never have to guess, you never have to wonder. Of all the commandments in the Word of God, this one is the most important. And it is Jesus Himself that declares this, so there cannot be any doubt.
There are 4 major ways we can absolutely know that Jesus loves us individually and personally.
Throughout this sermon I am going to use the word me instead of you or us because I want you to personalize this message.

Jesus is the Torah and the Logos. He is the Word. And He both demonstrates and says that He loves Me in His Word.
The Lord has appeared to him from afar, saying:
Indeed, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honorable,
and I have loved you;
therefore, I will give men for you,
and people for your life.
Do not fear, for I am with you;
I will bring your descendants from the east,
and gather you from the west;
Consider how much love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
“As the Father loved Me, I also loved you. Remain in My love.

Most of us that have been around very long know that words can be cheap. We are too use to dealing with members of fallen mankind. But Jesus – who is absolute TRUTH – also proves His Words of love with action.
